DIY menthol flavoring suggestion

Can anyone suggest a good menthol flavoring to use when u DIY? i love STRONG menthol flavors just mainly pure menthol no tobacco

The best I've heard comes from melting menthol crystals directly into your PG.

Yeah, I'd say menthol is menthol. Get the crystals. Crush them. Mix with just enough PGA so that they disolve. Use sparingly.

A drop of menthol will give any mint that "Altoids" boost.

Some folks use PG instead of PGA with some heat.

Capellas and TPA cinn's have always been very soluble for me.

I like strong menthol, it's what I vape most of the time. I was making my own menthol solution from crystals but now I just buy the menthol liquid. Another reason I use the liquid is for accuracy and consistency of the menthol solution. The solution at the link below is 66% menthol crystals dissolved in 34% ethyl alcohol. Be careful with menthol if you use to much it will burn your throat, use about 5% max and if you want more go up in 1% steps.

LMP is there like a ummmmm minty sorta taste with those? i know you like menthol so you will know what i meen when i say the real strong menthol but there seems to be just a hint of some kind of mint?

als if i do use crystals how many crystals would i add to say 5ml of pg base

4door, cannot answer your question about mixing the solid into PG as I've only used PGA.

As for the mint, no, menthol taste like menthol. Which is a good thing because it is menthol afterall.

If you want an undertone of menthol, then a tiny bit of spearmint or peppermint would do the job. I like wintergreen and menthol, but that seems to be less popular.

I have mixed menthol crystals with PG and it works fine. To use menthol crystals put some in a plastic bag then put that into another plastic bag and crush them into a fine powder with a rolling pin or a can of soup. open the bag and scoop up the menthol powder with a spoon, level it then put it an a beaker or mixing cup and add a spoon full of PG and mix, that will get you a 50/50 solution. I have made only 50/50 solution with PG so I don't know for sure if you could use less PG then that. I really recommend TFA's menthol solution, a $5.00 1 oz bottle lasts a long time, is mixed more accurately and it's easy.

by the way - mix in either PGA or PG/VG - if you use PGA and add a bit of PG/VG the PG/VG will float on top after a while - Doesn't matter that much though, just shake it before adding it to your juice
