DIY nicotine question

So the question pertains to MG and percent. I generally dont drip nic'd juice this is my first nic juice go, I like my nic juice at .3 .4% but am confused about the amount to add I'm using 24mg pg based nic. When I enter it into my calculator it uses mg/ml so I'm not sure the amount to add. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Not sure what you mean about your juice being a .3-.4% What calculator are you using? Are you DIY'ing your juice or adding nic to a pre-made juice? I don't drip but most drippers I know generally use 3-6mg juice.

I think you are getting confused by the mg per ml and percentage measurements. The 0.3% you refer to equates to 3mg, and using that in your calculator gives you, 1.25ml of 24mg nic base for 10ml of e-liquid to get your target strength of 3mg, the rest being made up of PG, VG and flavouring.

If you are making 100ml of 3mg juice, you would add 97ml of pg/vg and 3ml of nic. It's the same in fractions and percentages. Everything you add to a mix becomes part of 100%.

My typical recipe for 100ml:

15% flavor ----- or 15ml pg base
10% nic ------ or 10ml pg base
75% vg -------or 75ml

Total 100ml of 10mg e-juice.

I was wondering if the OP meant the .3% as flavoring; that's why I asked about DIY.

Since OP seems new to this, I just want to clarify. 30mg does NOT equal 30ml of 24mg nicotine juice per 10ml bottle.

2ml of 24mg nic+ 2ml of vg=12mg nic. Add 4 more ml of vg=6mg nic. Add 8 more ml of vg=3mg. This does not take into account flavoring but you get the picture.
