I've been cobbling together my DIY setup and today was my first fully homemade batch. I mixed 60% VG with 40% PG for my base. This came out a little thicker than the commercial liquid I had been using. I may try a 70/30 mix next time (or add some distilled water to this). I vape an Ego-T type B and tend to mix my juice up every day or two right in the tank. I've tried steeping flavors for a few weeks but haven't noticed a huge difference.
I used 80 drops of my base and 20 drops of LoRann Cherry Flavor.
Result is a nice thick vape, with a strong cherry flavor. As an ex-pipe smoker the amount of vapor is key for me and this fits the bill nicely.
My goal is to find all the components for my e-juice in brick and mortar stores and I'm hoping to find a local source for menthol crystals so I can add a little kick to my vape (i miss the njoy menthol i started with). Does anybody have any recommendations for the type of store that might carry menthol crystals? I've tried all the local pharmacies and had no luck.
