DIY noob video?

So i've started to DIY, and now wanted to watch a couple "how-to" videos - you know, to see if I'm doin' it right.

And from what I found, I'm doing OK. In fact, SOME of these people making videos are doing stuff that makes me cringe.
(Grim, "eyeballing" measurements, really? LOL OK, I know, it's OLD.)

Anyway - here's what I've learned:

a) I guess I need to move my nic - or some of it - to a wide-mouth bottle? My first nic purchase, anyway, came in an opaque bottle with a narrow neck - so how'm I gonna get the right amount in a syringe when it gets low? Suggestions welcome.

b) I may be overdoing the careful thing. I mean, I'm rinsing my 1 ml with water inside and out between flavors, I'm wiping it dry so I'm not adding any water TO my flavoring, I'm doing everything in ml, no drops...and still I've been concerned about my accuracy (mostly over reading the syringe gradients). I hardly saw any examples I'd want to emulate...

c) Except maybe THIS ONE. SWEET lab setup, and he seems to be doing almost everything "right"!

PLEASE recommend any other how-to-DIY videos I should watch, to pick up good ideas!

Pretty good video. I use a syringe for each product I use. They are cheap. I buy most of them from tractor supply. They have all different sizes. I don't want to contaminate my individual bottles with different ingredients.

A +1 on using separate syringes for each ingredient. I get mine from Wizard Labs they have a wide variety of sizes and a quantity discount too.
