DIY Paranoia Starts! Help!

Hi there,

I've never done Do It Yourself, & really (I think) I'm only trying to do something very simple - I want to dilute my 100% VG 12/mg/mL Bobas Bounty with the unflavored zero nicotine PG I bought here a few days ago. This is what I bought:

Dilution Base Liquid - One Stop DIY Shop Store

1. This PG (in the link) IS zero nicotine, right???

2. All I want to do, is add an equal amount of this zero nicotine PG to the Bobas & thin it, & then vape this mix (I realize this would then make the Bobas 6 mg/mL).

3. Also, Can I vape this PG right out of its bottle, or is there something I have to do first?

1. Yes, the PG you have linked to is 0 nic.

2. Yes, you will thin it out, cut the nic and also dilute the flavor. That's why I'd recommend just cutting a few ml of juice down and trying it to see what you think before you do the whole batch.

3. If you put some in a smaller bottle, it might make it a little easier to deal with but you don't have to. When working with nic base and flavorings, I always shake them up first in case they've separated, but, with plain PG, there's nothing to separate.

Another option for thinning your VG is to use distilled water. I believe a 20% cut will get it to PG consistancy. PGA or vodka could also be used but I'm not as certain about the ratios.

Keith hit it on the nose.

I would highly suggest following his direction and dilute a small amount first as you will not only dilute the nic level but the flavor level as well

I do have a few customers that vape the PG straight as they do not want flavored juice and have lowered their nic level to zero but still enjoy using their e-cig

Yes it's as simple as mix and shake and vape. You already know it will lower the nic and flavor but sometimes that works out. Just experiment with small samples and keeps notes on what you did so you can re-create it. PG can be use alone or used as a nic free base for any suitable flavoring.
