Well I've already done some reseach about how to do e-liquid and already made three bottles of different flavors.

As I was searching on the dark side of my mother's cupboard I found some artificial flavors. The only problem is that there all expired, but still smell great. I don't know if its safe to use them even if the expire date is from january 2012 haha.

The expiration date wouldn't bother me so much as the possibility that they have ingredients that shouldn't be vaped.

I would avoid anything that has food coloring in it. No one knows if colorings are safe to vape.

It's kinda funny because in the bottle also says "with no color" but on the ingredients on every bottle says "artificial flavour and colouring".

EDIT: Also, if you see the liquid is completely transparent. I guess they add some coloring to make it transparent... Only in one bottle, from another trademark (Wilton) there's no coloring.

I probably wouldn't, myself. It may be fine, but to me, it's just not worth it. Some flavorings out there can have some bad stuff in them, like diacetyl, which is know to cause bad things to happen when vaped. For a couple bucks, you can get new (presumably safe) flavor samples delivered to your door step...so why not just do that and play it safe? I don't know...seems odd for us ex-smokers to be concerned about what we put into our bodies...it's weird like that, I guess.

Maybe bake some cup cakes instead?
