Hey guys. So I've been happily mixing my own liquids for a few months now. I've been using Capella and TFA flavors. I've found that for more complex recipes that as long as the total flavor hangs at around 20%, then it usually comes out alright. Sometimes there are some minor adjustments, but for the most part they aren't horrible as long as I stay in that range. I just recently put an order in for some VZ super concentrated flavors because they looked interesting and I wanted to try them out. I know that most of these flavors say that they need to be mixed anywhere from 1% to 2.5%. I was wondering can anyone tell me what that means in terms of complex recipes. Mainly I'm wondering if I would have to keep the total flavoring limited to say 2% flavor even if I am using more than 1 flavor?

i use vz super all the time and like the lemon i use at 2% but the mandarin i use at 6% you will find that some flavs are tolerant of exceeding the 2-3% range a nice tropical mix i like is
2% lemon
3% mandarin
4% pineapple
which in total 9% so use them the same way as before but instead of having your 20% total your going to have around half that
