Perfumer's Apprentice is still working on Vanilla Custard but once that's released all the flavorings are available there (and right now she would likely send you a sample of it if you wanted), so you don't have to go to 3 different companies.

New Recipe i made today..and it's awesome

I made a 10 ml bottle and i aways just guess at my calculations so here goes

all are approximate :


7 ml Vg / Pg Combination of 50 % of each
1 ml 100mg nic

20 drops Capella Vanilla Custard
10 drops PA Bavarian Cream
15 drops Awesome Vapor Vanilla eliquid


I like it strong and this is definately strong and my guessimations are it's about 10mg nic / maybe 11 since the Awesome Vapor eliquid was 18mg strength.

Where does one get those flavorings, Clumsy? That sounds so good, I would love a really strong vanilla. I've got nic and pg and vg but there are so many vendors I'm unsure about where to buy the rest.

If you're looking for a store to get flavorings from different brands in one place, ecigExpress is good or HappyVaper if you're in Canada. The "Signature" flavors at ecigExpress are from Perfumer's Apprentice. There's also an awards section in my guide in Post 2 I believe, that might help you pick which company to get a common flavor like vanilla from.

Here's an RY4 recipe I made that I thought was really good. I could have sworn I got it from the main DIY recipe thread but I can't find it now. Anyway, it's tasty but it doesn't use tobacco so it's not identical.

In 5 ml base:
LorAnn Caramel 8 drops
Capella's Vanilla Custard 7 drops
LorAnn Bavarian Creme 5 drops

The BC gives it the smokey flavor believe it or not.

I also like Other flavorings, such as FA....and there's a new supplier on the supplier forum that carrys them...freedmsmokesusa or something another. Their Caramel , butterscotch is the best in my opinion

I know of some that have used tea, tobacco and coffee to make their own extracts. I suppose you could make tintures of herbs, ive done that before but not to vape.

I just use the flavorings out there already made...alot less hassle i would think.

Thanks to Clumsy and PureVapor, I ordered the stuff to make this...the order from ecigexpress came this morning already! I saw another of Clumsy's posts about Awesome Vapor's Caramel and Cream so I ordered those as well as the Vanilla. Can't wait till it gets here!

Adding more may not be your answer. Sometimes when you add too much flavor it actually makes it less like the actual flavor should taste. You may need to add another flavor to bring it out. I haven't worked with grape so I don't know what it would be. I know with chocolates adding butter or vanilla will help the flavor pop.

Maybe try a little cotton candy or ??? Anyone else know???

marshmallow maybe? i love adding that to all flavors that should be sweet and tasty!

I can only vape VG . A little PG in flavorings is o.k. Anyone have any good DIY recipes for VG? I'm really wanting to try DIY bad, but I know just finding good tasting, VG, e-juice has been very difficult for me. ElectroJuice's Ultimate E-Juice Flavors are the only ones that I like. I usually use 11mg. nic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!
