Has anyone tried to replicate this and make anything close? I love Smilin Menthol but it takes forever to get to me and I thought maybe I could make it myself cheaper. Anyone have a recipe?

No, I haven't, but it is also one of my top two flavors. I have two favorite menthols, and this is one of them. I've even had others try some of my cartos of some of my flavors to help me disect ingredients, and I'm just left laughing, because I know I'll never be able to do it. And I don't know about anyone else, but I've noticed that one box of Smilin' Menthol cartos will taste different than the next sometimes, and different strengths will of course taste different. But I recently got some cartos that were heavy on the chocolate/coffee flavor, but still unmistakeably Smilin' Menthol. I've used them and will refill with my liquid version.
I've been trying to come up with a replicate of Spirit of America Menthol, and one of my friends tasted it and stated she found "buttered popcorn". Huh? And she was right, there is a slightly sweet yet salty taste to it. So I'm going to get some popcorn flavored juice, and see what I can do. Yet I have to laugh at myself cause I know it will never work!
Does it really take that long to get to you in Virginia? Gotta stock up, friend! Good sale right now, 21% off! And they run these types of sales all the time. Get on the e-mail list if you're not already. I almost missed this one. I"m all set for cartos right now, plus I bought all the 36mg of my Spirit one's during the last sale, so till they restock, I"ll treat myself to something else!!! Oh it's a good weekend!!
For what it's worth, Smilin' Menthol reminds me of Marlboro Smooth cigarettes, which someone else said reminds them of Andes Mints candies. Remember those?

I don't use cartos YET but only buy the juice and I never see a change of flavor in the juice (thank goodness). chocolate/coffee flavor? I don't really taste that, I mainly can taste spearmint and maybe menthol but not sure what else makes the awesome flavor. I know that I will probably never be able to replicate it but I was hoping!

I got the 510 cartos and was shocked that it smells and taste like buttered popcorn (I actually think it is a sickening taste). I thought Taboo was their RY4 but to me does not even come close to RY4 at all. Then again my taste buds are changing so what I used to like in the beginning I don't like so much anymore. Everyone's taste buds are different so who knows if you'll think the same thing about that juice.
I have been little by little stocking up. Every time I make an order with them I am buying a bottle or two of the smilin even if I don't actually need it at the moment. Especially when they are running a sale. I just broke down and bought a Vapor King because I've been wanting to try it and added some Smilin juice because 21% off is a great deal!
