If you think you would be comfortable with it, consider buying a scale and using weight based measurements. Many find it a more efficient method than volume measure with syringes and graduated cylinders.

I did Amazon for for syringes, pipettes, beakers and such.
I did Essentials Depot for PG/VG they have occasional sales where you can get a gallon of each shipped for under $50. But will probably just go to my local TSC for PG ($23 gallon) and Walmart,CVS or Walgreens for VG next time.
VapersTech for "Throat Hit" nic $25 per liter.
OnStopDiyShop (OSDIY) for flavor concentrates. Several of their house brand flavorings work great as standalone (single ingredient) "shake and vape" flavors (Old Tyme Root Beer, Sweet Southern Tea, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Milk and more I have yet to try). Good Idea for beginners to get some vary tasty results you enjoy before diving into more complex recipes! Beleive me DIY ain't as simple as it seems!

Wizard Labs - All my flavorings, syringes, blunt needle tips for syringes come from there. Their USP grade PG, USP grade VG, and Nic Base in VG (organic nic) are all excellent, with prices for even their smaller sizes being very reasonable, too. You don't have to buy in bulk to get a great deal. Their care in packaging everything for shipment is by far the best, too, IMO.

Bulk Apothecary - They have excellent Kosher grade VG and USP grade PG in a variety of sizes. Super deal especially on their gallons of VG and PG when/if you begin to buy in bulk. I got 1 gallon of each during 1 of their sales...paid $38.28 including S/H from them in Ohio to me in Florida.

Nude Nicotine - Super high-quality Nic Base in VG. It's the smoothest I've gotten (have used My Freedom Smokes, Wizard Labs, and Nude Nicotine). However, the price is higher, too.

Plastic Dropper Bottles - I buy 30mL and 50mL ones from DropperBottles.com at a price that beats US eBay sellers or anyone else. They also carry the unicorn bottles. They sell everything in lots of 100, but you can request and get a variety to make that 100.

Mixing bottles:
I mix in my old e liquid dropper bottles, clean them and reuse. For batches over 15ml I bought 10 ea. 30 ml glass bottles from Amazon. Over 120 ml. can store in almost any pourable sealing glass jar.

Best recommendation for a DIY Starter Kit it is Liquid Barn. Everything you need to get started with DIY in one box.

As the first couple of posts say. Not a whole lot is needed. If you buy a liter of nic, buy smaller glass bottles to break it down. Store all but one in the freezer. I use 125ml bottles. (Amazon)

I prefer syringes; 1ml, 3ml, 5ml & 20ml. Put clear tape over the measurement markings to preserve them. I just wash them out and re-use. But, I do have about five of each. Oh, needle length and gauge. 3" or 4" length helps to reach lower in the bottle. Larger gauge is just faster. PM me if you want to know my sources.
