Boysenberry seems to do really well on its own (I can't remember what manufacturer, it was a gift). FA Forestfruits is another good one. Also FA peach and pomegranate, I think.

Maple is a really nice side note to some berries. I tend to not give "percentages" because well, everyone's palate is different and I don't usually do stand alone mixes.

I am a fan of pairing apricot with brandy, as well.

I can't stand strawberry or raspberry, I just feel like they are more "candy like" in artificial flavorings than fruit like.

I like strong flavors, some probably too strong for most folks. Flavor percentages are subjective to individual personal taste.

I have never been a fan of fruit vapes, so have rarely ever done them. But early on when I first started doing DIY almost 5 years ago (a little again later) I did play around with a few fruit concentrates.

The only one that found a short run in my vaping was Lychee. It was way too sweet for me, but can have a strong flavor at whatever flavor percentage you personally like, and it can stand alone. IMO it was way better if you add ice cold to it though as that seemed to mask some of the sweetness. There are different ways to add cold, also subjective. I don't use menthol for my cold ingredient (I literally hate the menthol flavor), but had a sample of it then and found that Lychee can completely mask the menthol flavor if it is used to add cold to it. Too far back to be sure, but it was probably TFA Lychee, and the menthol came in the form of a premade from ZAR called Tropical Ice that claimed to have coconut in it as well. Can't prove that by me though as all I tasted was very strong menthol that took days to get past.

FW blood orange and grape are good singles. Both pair well with WF pixie for a candy vape. FLV tangerine and wild melons are also good singles. TFA lemonade cookie is good on it's own, better with a bit of WF angel cake added. Cap sweet tangerine at high percentage is a good single too.

These aren't TFA or CAP, but OneStopDIYShop has their own proprietary flavorings called One Stop Flavors and One Stop Blends...that are made to be stand-alone. Their Succulent Strawberry (a One Stop Blend) and their Blueberry (a One Stop Flavor) are both stronger, true-to-the-fruit taste flavorings. I've found also that each of them tend to get stronger in your mix a few days after you've made it. When used singly, both are very good, IMO. They have them in several different sizes, including sample sizes, and if you use the coupon code ECF or JFK at Checkout, you'll get at least an 11% discount on your total order.

They also carry the main name brand flavorings, too, like TFA, CAP, FW, etc. in case you need any of those.
