I received my replacement package today and guess what!...it leaked yet again. I also placed an order last night...big mistake IMO after seeing this happen with a replacement. So I called and asked for a refund for both...I'm done with this company!

Were they packaged in mail bubbler or boxes? Your location isn't listed, do you think they traveled overland or flew to you? Was it only the nic that leaked or flavors or both? What kind of container was it that leaked (small dropper bottle, large mouthed jar)? Any other details you can add that might be meaningful?

I'm in the midwest. They were packaged in a bubble mailer like always. Just flavorings that were ordered in 10ml dropper bottles.

One more thing, I've never had trouble like this from them...not until I ordered nature's flavorings. They seem to be the culprit and I expressed that to the woman I spoke too.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking it was the nic bottles leaking when they traveled by air but your case shoots my theory in the .... I just got about 60 bottles of flavor from them, they came bagged and boxed, with no leaks. I live in Indiana and they had to travel by air as fast as I got them. I didn't get any Nature's Flavor though, I got FA, Cap, FW and Tasty Puff. They were all the small bottles. I'm hoping we can gather enough details to nail down exactly why it's happening. I thought they'd switched to boxes but maybe that's just for larger orders or nicotine. I wonder if any nic has been sent out in the bubblers lately? Did they make it right by you when you let them know?

I am more concerned about nic leaking than flavorings but...packages shouldn't be leaking. Was it well sealed against leakage inside the mailer? Like a sealed bag inside of a sealed bag inside of the bubblewrap mailer?

The flavors were inside just a plain ziploc-type baggie.

Yes, she is going to issue me a refund for the leaky one and also the one I placed last night...totaling over $100.

I couldn't tell from my damaged shipment if the cap cracked because of air pressure differentiation during shipment or if the weight of other packages or poor handling was the culprit. It might have survived if the tape around the top of the bottle and cap was folded down. But shipping nicotine in a shipping bubble pack envelope is just plain asking for trouble. Boxes from the USPS are free for businesses.

I received two shipping notices for my replacement order. Two different tracking numbers. So maybe they sent the nicotine in a separate box.

If I owned ECx i would definitely make sure the line of communication between myself, the General Manager and the Shipping Supervisor was open and everyone was on the same page. But I don't and I don't know what kind of problems this type of business faces. I would, for sure, see that the company's liability insurance was up to date.

Another vendor is in the spotlight for not shipping out nicotine properly.

Scroll thru-it is a posting from Wednesday. Vendors do not realize this is a liability issue. I understand the liability clause on the website. However, they are responsible for packaging the liquids correctly.

I ordered some premixed once from a popular vendor here at ecf. It was sent loose in a bubble mailer and leaked thru the package.

What is particularly disturbing was one of the vendors in that thread is selling 99% pure nicotine online. Even the MSDS sheet shows it as being 99% pure...which would be 990mg. That is insane and irresponsible. Someone is going to die (literally) if what they are selling is real. Then again, it could be just a scamming technique. Either way...really crappy.

I received my replacement order. It arrived intact, but again the 100mg nicotine was wrapped with bubble paper with some tape around the cap, folded down this time. This is not the way to ship nicotine. I wish ECx well and I will continue to purchase from them. Just not nicotine.

WL ships their nicotine in triple, strong 3ml heat sealed plastic. This is the way to go.

Vendors selling 100% nicotine : If you look further you'll see that it's wholesale. This is for labs and other vendors who have long experience handling the stuff.

I thought I was within the rules just mentioning it was wholesale in passing. I didn't post a link. Where did I go wrong?

I wasn't directing it at you :) just don't want anybody getting in trouble and the newer people might not know the rules

Edit: you see how the vendors can't even discuss over 36 mg.... but we can....we are special :D

For a couple days have been trying to place an order from them. Their site kept either deleting my cc infor or shipping option. Had to chat and told to call and place order. After their hack issue, I think I'm going elsewhere. Also, no flavors descriptions. Too bad, because I had an order from them w/o any problems. But a hassle (most ecig websites are awful).
