diy vg eliquid question

I'm asking to see if 20% pg flavoring is enough to thin up 100% vg, or do I need to add water too? If I need to add water what percentages do you recommend for the vg, flavoring, and water?

I use 20% distilled water for my VG mixes. It's the only way I can enjoy it. Any less water, my chest gets heavy.

To vague... How thin do you want it? If you use 20% pg based flavoring then it's going to be an 80/20 VG. If you want it thinner than an 80/20 then yeah use distilled water, or use PG. I go with max VG every time so my recommendation is VG and more VG.
DIY is just that: Do It YOURSELF. It's all about you so what do you like? Do you prefer a 50/50 eliquid or something thicker/thinner. You can do whatever you want with it.

I use a 50/50 pg/vg mix for dripping. I only add water to a small bottle for my Aspire CE5-S. And that's only because the wick is too small to suck up the juice.

I use 50/50 in the tank setup if I am dripping 70/30 I have never added water to mine but that is really a personal preference unless you are trying to use a 80/20 on a tank setup which you will or have found out does not work without thinning it down
