i think to cover the ecf in case someone has a legal issue from some advice taken from a post...some people do crazy things based on what others post ...some jump into vaping without understanding safety.
I was wondering the EXACT same thing after reading it just now.
My best guess is someone who has an ECF account hurt themselves , their animal, or their child, thus causing ECF to put up a warning.
Or, as the best above me suggests, it could be a pre-emptive warning, meant to protect ECF (and us, the users) from future mishaps.
I think it is Just that, a Warning.
And something Everyone should Read and Understand before jumping into DIY.
The Timing may have Something to do with what is Going On in the EU. But that is Pure Speculation.
Often New members start in the New section or Main section asking questions on DIY. They can easily get erroneous information.
Best for ECF to cover all the Bases.
I still have a lot of questions on this particular subject, but refrain from Board discussion. I agree with err on the side of caution, but also believe in getting the actual Facts and making wise decisions for myself.

You can delete any of the yellow information blocks by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner. Once you do that they will not reappear.
The also put legislative news in the hello blocks. It may appear that the legislative ones keep retiring after clicking the X but what you are seeing are either new blocks or updates on previous blocks.

It is the Warning that is in the DIY Forum...it got made "Global" for a little bit (which is why it showed up everywhere)
Maybe we should have those pop up globally every so often tho...looks like it got people thinking
