I'll just throw in the standard warning: if you want to DIY, be aware that concentrated nicotine is dangerous. It can kill you, even just getting it on your skin, and it doesn't take much at the high concentrations. So wear gloves and be careful.
agree that - spilled most of a 30 ml bottle of reg juice all over my arm and hands and little bit in my eye, thought I was gonna ralph my guts out, then slept for most of 2 days, can only imagine what 60 or 100mg juice can do if too much exposure.

I've splashed 100mg nic on my hands many times during DIY I just rinsed it of right away I didn't have any ill effects but i wouldn't want to get it into my eyes
but back to your question:
http://www.rtsvapes.com use the coupon code of FIRSTORDER and get 20% off nic and pg/vg you can get a small bottle of nic some pg and some vg a few empty bottles a few syringes or a measuring cylinder and some flavoring and give it a try. I haven't bought vendor juice in over a year DIY can be fun and tasty

Same here kabonk,,, lets not get anyone paranoid or scare them off that wants to DIY,,, DIY is very fun and can be very rewarding as well as save you a good bit of coin over buying vendor juice. For beginners its probably most wise to start off buying 36mg instead of 100mg, as well as downloading a Mixing calc. There are numerous household chemicals that could do just as much damage under your kitchen sink in many instances as well. So just take your time, Read, learn, and start off with some easy recipe's only mixing 1-2 flavors for your first few batches. Google and Youtube have numerous readings and videos. Make sure to do a good bit of reading & research and buy good clear Nic from the best Nic sellers. And dont let anyone scare you off from DIY'ing it's a super way to go and if you plan on vaping long term will save you a ton of money.

ya just to clarify I didnt have a quick way to remove it either, it was quite a walk to the sink at work - by the time I got there It was starting to dry, my dumb fault in the end, but it def made me a little worried

If you worried about spilling Nic while DIY'ing, just keep your Nic in a needle top bottle, this way when you mix you never have to unscrew your regular type bottle top :) Done deal

Or ones like this = Specialty Bottle - Cobalt Blue European Dropper Bottles

That's one of those tips ya never think about but when you read it you think.........
Why didn't I think of it.
I probably did. Just forgot to remember it.
NOT.

I was looking at buying this premix no flavor Microcig Premium
and playing with flavors myself.

Is there much difference in the quality of pg and vg out there or is it all much the same?

It's not all the same, stay away from the Humco brand that you can buy at the drug store or walmarts, could be the plastic bottle they use not sure but I find it not so good, and all USP VG/PG is Not the same,,,,, some good ones I like to use are the Organic USP from Heritage, and also the Now Brand, and Proctor Gamble , RTSVapes seem to have a good VG as well

Best and cheapest way to DIY juice?

I just orderd 25 different flavors fron Wizzard Labs and 500 mills of of 60 mg nic and a ton of ve and pg from Essential Depot, ohhhhh yaaaaa baby :) Now I hope I dont need to order any time soon from making FUBAR batches of juice! Lmfao

"Best" is when you don't FUBAR any batches, and they all turn out great. :) Also, if you're not sure this DIY thing is for you, buy smaller quanities of nic/PG/VG/flavors for a start. I got my first small DIY quantities from High Desert Vapes, as they had a good sale going that day. Wizard Labs is another good place, as is DIY E-Cig Supplies & E-Cigarette Liquid | Make Your Own E-Liquid | RTS Vapes. Once you're certain that DIY is for you, then you can buy in bulk, and see the savings rack up.

I saw Essential Depot had 1 gallon PG + 1 gallon VG combo on sale recently. Something like $45 shipped. With the 500 ml of nic, he can make 8000 ml of flavorless base. This totals only pennies per ml. Then add flavor. Sometimes you can get supplies cheaper direct from manufacturer, other times the resellers are cheaper. Also depends on how much you want to buy/store at a time. I'm not sure I have enough room for 800 bottles of 10ml each.

Not sure if you'd need 800, don't forget at least some empty bottles to store your DIY liquids.

as far as safety goes just use some common sense. have a way to flush your skin. wear gloves a.d goggles and only mix in a well ventilated room. keep paper towels handy.
and practice measureing with accuracy.
its no big deal but it could be if you ignore the basic rules of safety. kinda like the Guy who got sick be because he couldn't wash his skin. that's just not smart.
your number one piece of safety equipment should be patience. patience to do it the right way beats e everything else.

Hi Bob, I know I have alot of ejuice supplies from the looks of it but I have a heavy vape habbit and so does my girlfriend! I also know 15-20 other vapers that swap juice with me so trust me when I say it wont go to waste,I alone vape 5-6 mils a day due to using a genesis atty;-) As far as safty Im trained to work with highly toxic substances and nic is nothing compared with hydrocloric acid and aqua regia so I will be fine! I also have all the safty equipment to protect myself and a ton of blue colbalt glass bottles and plastic drip bottles, thanks for your concern though:) How is the DIY working out for you, hope your enjoying it!:)

Make sure you check the DIY section. Read, ask questions, learn.

For me, the difference between buying 36mg and 100mg nic (diluting to 18mg juice) is $0.01 per ml. Yeah, it adds up over time, but not by much. If I vape 5ml a day, that's under $20 savings per year. For me, that's worth not having a poison to play with. 36mg is still no joke, I'm not going to be bathing in it any time soon, But it makes me feel better about the dangers.

Plus, since I like 50/50 PG/VG, I can get 36mg VG, 0mg PG and mix literally 50/50 (well, minus the flavorings subtracted from the PG). Also, with this combo, if I want to mix lower nic levels, I can add more PG to get about 70/30 at 12mg. The more PG will hopefully give me the TH I'd be missing from the nic.
