I dabble. But have ran into some problems since I started mixing with vg. I cant get the consistency right and it is not as sweet.

You can add distilled water, it doesn't take much, or a few drops of PGA. Shake the bottle and let it sit for awhile then shake again.

To sweeten add a few drops of Cotton Candy or EM (Ethyl Maltol). Some people use Sacrylose as a sweetener but I don't like the aftertaste.

Some chocolates almost double in strength after sitting for a couple of days so be careful not to add too much.

It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. It not necessary to buy a kit. Like anything else in forums there are always people that like to complicate things, but it's really pretty easy.

Bubble bubble toil and no trouble at all. I've been doing DIY for a while now. Nothing complicated and it all tastes good, and if there's one that doesn't..easy to fix. Lots cheaper too.
