Djarum replacement?

I've been looking for a djarum replacement. I bought a pack of the wow clove cartos and while they have the clovey taste, they don't taste like my beloved djarums.

Could someone help me find real djarum tasting cartos? Or maybe V4L can come up with a new flavor for us djarum addicts :3

As a Djarum smoker for 18 years I have not found a single flavor that satisfies. However, I have found that a mixing Wow Cinnamon roll into the clove carts comes close. However that didn't give my mouth/throat the same feeling that Djarums did. I only found that to be appeased by Wow Peppermint. I wear 2 lanyards now one with Cinnamon roll and one with Peppermint. Hitting those in alternation satisfies the craving for Djarum Specials for me...

There are 17+ ingredients apart from the tobacco in the Djarum cigs so if you are looking for an exact match you are going to have to DIY. There are some threads in the DIY forum from others that quest for this holy grail. I found in my search that I didn't need an exact match to be happy. I still have moments of weakness though when I smell someone else smoking a clove though it just takes 1 hit to remind me how bad they taste compared to how good they smell.

Good luck in your search. Be open to trying new flavors and you will eventually find something that appeases your clove demon.

I didn't like the Wow Clove, but the premium clove juice seemed pretty close to djarum blacks to me.. the wow clove was more like a cheaper brand of cloves i once tried.

I haven't tried the Wow Clove yet, but as WolfAtTheDoor said above.. the premium ones did taste a lot like Djarum Blacks to me, too.
