Hi!
Just like the title says, Is there a dna 20/30 Box mod that has a removable battery?
I understand that most/all dna Mods one can remove and replace the battery once it has died out.
Depending on the Mod, you can personally replace the battery, solder a new battery (for some) or just
send it back to the shop/modder and have it replaced.

But what Im looking for is one that the user can easily replace with a newly charged battery,
similar to the Provari or Mech mods. Is there one in the market right now?

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the replies and suggestions :)
Basically, what im looking for is a box mod that you can easily pop a new battery in without using any tools and you dont have to unscrew something. I mean, it would be troublesome if youre out and about - pull out a screwdriver, unscrew a mod, change the battery, then screw the cover again :)

Well I have one of those mini screwdriver keychains and it works well. Its not that big of a deal to swap it out.

Any other suggestions that would meet these criteria? :)

* DNA 20 or DNA 30 Mod
* Box Mod
* Battery can be replaced without the need of soldering (like plug and play)
* Does not need tools to open the Box Mod to change the Battery.

Thanks!

Are you worried about maintain a charge? The Hana Modz comes with a mini usb passthrough charger. you dont really need to swap out the battery...just find a place to charge it like a cigarette adapter. Would be nice to just be able to pop off the back though. Unfortunately I dont know of any like that...yet.

The problem with your request is as follows:

The DNA chipset does not have electronic reverse battery protection. Thus if you incorrectly install the battery you fry the board. end of story.

So most modders are hardwiring the batteries in and forcing the user to use the micro USB charger to guard against the guy who frys his board and claims he didn't do nothing wrong.

Other Modder's are going the "ProVape" route and are designing their boards so that it will ONLY accept button top batteries (Like the ZNA). This limits your choice of battery as a consumer.
