Ok so Im tired of having my post dissapear when the page doesnt' reload right after re-logging in! god ! Third time writing this so I will dumb it down a bit,

My question is about the benefits/drawbacks things to consider with the dna chipset. Basically it comes down to a little warmer vape and ability to build a little bit lower res. coils? or am I missing something?

I am considering building my own device with this chip, and I want to know everything I can before I start. Cant try one, or run any tests or anything because I dont know anybody personally who has one already. Thanks ECF. Vets!

Basically, yes, it comes down to a warmer vape and you can go a bit lower resistance on the coil build with a DNA 30 than a 20.

The only drawback I know of is getting the proper battery for the 30 is a bit more expensive than a proper battery for the 20.

I could cloud up this response with power calculations and safety factors, but it comes to the point that a DNA 20 will not stress a battery that is rated for 10 amps continuous draw while the DNA 30 will need a battery rated for 15 amps continuous draw if you want a long and safe battery life.

Neither DNA protects against reverse voltage, so if the battery is replaceable you'll want to protect against being able to put the battery in backward and it making contact which means going to a button top. If the battery is not replaceable and you are charging it inside the mod, then as long as it is connected right the first time, there won't be a problem.

(As an aside, be sure to check the box next to "Remember Me" before logging in and it will prevent issues like you had getting this post posted.)
