If I'm not a cloud chaser? I can't decide if I should buy one or not. I enjoy a good vape but never need that much power to get it. I've almost bought a hana and a vaporshark a few times, but I'm more interested in attys as the main component to the best vaping experience. Lots of new ones out or about to be released. thoughts?

I'm beginning to think I won't know unless I try one.

My thoughts exactly, but before I drop that kind of change on a specific DNA 30 mod I want, I bought an DNA 30 clone mod to see what the hype is about, however I will be getting into RBAs, I'd like to have a little bit more range than with what I'm working with now if I decide I want to start chasing around for clouds. (Vamo that sometimes likes to fire and a Ego-twist VV battery) Best of luck to you. Happy vaping. :vapor:

I have found that a regulated MOD is the best vape to be had regardless of atty setup.

You may not NEED a DNA30, but it will a great vape if you were to get one.

This isn't about chasing clouds, but about having a smooth, consistent vape through the battery charge. Only a good DC-DC regulated MOD can provide that.

But I might look for one of the SX350 MODs (orthe new IPV2 built around the SX330 chip) rather than a DNA30.

I figured it for the next logical upgrade in my evolution as a vaper; preordered at elev8 on may 16, and finally got my blue baby last week. I love that it can handle both tanks and drippers with ease, how it has all the info I need displayed always on the screen (ohms/watts/resulting voltage, battery charge, etc). It was a great investment, for my home and driving use! It replaces the mvp's I used which are now sitting there useless until I implement a 510 connector replacement (pin insulators that die should be banned!), and a host of other "quick fixes" to get my vape fix on.

I don't use it over 20 watts, and that is just to do a flavor range test dripping new juices. But, I like having the steady vape it delivers at any wattage I choose to enjoy. It is a solid little unit; mine came after they updated both the chip programming and the 510 connector. So no tears over missing out on the early models for me! If I were purchasing a mod as a gift for a person committed to vaping, this would probably be it. Good features, good fun!

That being said, I want it to last, so I ordered an E-LVT to ride the horse trails with, because no matter what case solution I find for the cana 30, I'm gonna worry about my mod when I should be eyes on the trail. Sweat-proof with a flashlight has it's own appeal =)

high end with support DNA 30s

definitely zna
probably vaporshark, protovapor xpv, and the wizard's apprentice evolved 2 that i know of
i have seen a fair number of complains about the Hanas

Completely agree.

I have heard the complaints about the Hana clones, but not much on the original Hanas. YMMV.

Have a VS and absolutely freaking love everything about it except the battery life since I'm bad about chain vaping.
Protovapor XPV is on order to help solve the battery issue.
Would love a ZNA .... but they seem to be made of high purity Unobtanium.

It you aren't into high wattage, VShark has the DNA20 for $119.
Personally 30W is more than enough and I even dripped using a Tobh on my VS over the weekend.

The DNA provides a really smooth nice vape and is my personal preference.

I second the vaporshark (as jakematic knows lolol).

The best thing about a DNA30 for you (according to what I gathered from your post)is it will not only allow you to get an absolutley fantastic vaping experience right now with what you are comfortable with, but it will give you room to expand should you want to in the future. You may at the moment be content, but should you ever get that wild hair up your nose to blow a cloud the DNA30 will allow you to do that as well.

A thousand times this. I have an XPV, and you don't need to put an exotic atomizer on it to enjoy it. I've had everything from Kangers to Kayfuns on mine, and it's just a good, solid APV.

You need to read more

Precisely why I joined ECF.

or take off the blinders

Unlike many folks around here I don't think there is an "end all be all must have defend to the death mod".
The industry is changing and lots of great things are coming out, so we all have to find the right devices on this journey.

Hana doesn't do anything for me, but I have read about clones having issues and saw the same in a reviewer video.
That is why I said YMMV - implying people should in fact do their own research.

And that is a screaming deal. I have a 20 I got right around New Years; it cost $169 back then and doesn't have some of the mechanical improvements they've made since then. It convinced me that the DNA-based mods were the way to go and I've bought a few others since. :D

but I have read about clones having issues and saw the same in a reviewer video.

That reviewer (I'm pretty sure I know which one you're talking about) had a pre-production model and made another video a week or so later with the actual unit. The second review was much different than the first.

I've read more issues with the Hana Mod than I have with the clone.

Just keep in mind alot of the dna30 boxes do not use 18650 batts.
