DNA 30 light turns green, and then red?

Hi everyone,

I just got a second hand Vaporshark dna yesterday. This little thing hits like a train!, no need to compare with my mech mod clone lol.

Back to the topic: I charged the VS overnight and in the morning the light indicator turned green. So I plug off the charging cable and try plugging in the cable again immediately, but now the light turns to red-- not green anymore.

Is there is a problem with my VS or it is normal for the DNA30 things?

How long does it take to return to green? If it goes back to green quickly (within a couple minutes) I wouldn't worry about it, if not, perhaps give their customer service a call and ask them if its a known problem and if it has a solution.

I e only had mine a week and it'll do the same thing. takes a bit to turn green again. my guess is the last bit of charging it trickles and takes awhile to do the last couple per cent.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's likely just a trickle of charge left. I've not tried that with my DNA 20 but I'm sure it would do the same. When the light is green, I remove it from the charger. I would say it's charged when it turns green the first time.

I'm trying charging again after a few puffs, will see if there's any problem with that

But I have tested the lowest watts without blinking ohm on my 1.5ohm kayfun, the lowest watts is ~10 watts, so the battery charge is around ~3.9 volts.

Hope there is no problem with that since I bought it way too expensive compared to you guys in USA.

In here, I mean Thailand, there is only one guy who has brand new VS DNA30 in stock -- only one VS DNA and the price is freakin' expensive at ~400USD.

Buying VS directly from the US vendor should be the lowest cost but have to pray for the shipping (doesn't count for the Thai Customs who might--and likely-- to make me pay some kind of tax/tariff)

luckily I bought the second hand VS for ~220USD, but still too expensive than buying the brand new at the US

out of power, I think it should be the issue. Have a try and charge more, or you can ask customer service. oh, second hand? You can consult the manufacturer. My friend once bought a second hand chiyou, any questions he questioned the manufacturer who helped him much.

I have tested recharging after it turns green already, it turns to green after ~5 minutes so I think there should be no problem with my VS
