Here are the specs of what I built. (I can add some pictures later if necessary)

Evolva DNA20 Chip

20 Gauge Wire to Battery
Copper Sheet Home Made Positive with wire soldered directly to it

Spring from High Desert Vapes 18650 Battery Holder with Negative soldered to it
Orbtronic 30amp battery 18650

22 gauge to 510 connection

Everything on the mod works properly, up, down, fire, usb charge etc.

If I am running a 1.1 ohm coil in a dripper on it and the battery goes down to roughly 3.9 volts remaining, and I fire the mod at 14watts or higher (around 3.8, 3.9 volts) the battery life bar will diminish from 3/4s and keep going down with each draw until (after a few chain vapes) it starts saying check battery and not responding until I drop the wattage more.

Has anyone seen this happen or is this how the dna is? Something seems off.

Please let me know what other information I can provide.

Thanks for the reply.

I re-did the Positive and torched and polished the copper this time. It appears there was some sort of residue on it.

For the negative, it was a chopped off 18650 battery holder with the 20 gauge wire attached at the base of the spring.

I took this out, cut a piece of polished copper, hammered a nipple for contact and soldered directly to it and put the spring on the back side.

So far today in my test, I have not had any of the symptoms and it allowed me to go all the way to 20 watts on the AW18650 battery which I believe has a c rating of 8. I have been doing my test today with an orbtronic 20C 30 amp battery with ZERO issues.

It looks like I just needed better contacts and to have a solid copper contact versus the spring that I was using.
