dna250 wont turn on

You can try this, just to see if it fires. But please just try it and then switch it back. That is within EScribe, select the manufacture's interface. Now you can change the battery type. Select power supply. Now the dna doesn't care about individual cell voltages. If I am right, it should fire now. But once you try it, then change it back. Because if something is wrong with the board, one cell is likely now draining faster than the other. And can end up dangerously low, or even reverse polarity.

its sitting in my mates boiler cupboard but i will try this Thursday-Friday when back round

Yeah well if it fires, either the balance connection (wires between the board and the batteries) are bad, or the Battery Management IC is bad on the board. If it doesn't fire, there are far more problems than the Battery Management IC.

ok changed to power supply but beside it says set your psu voltage to 12v?
screen on but no back light on display? and doesnt fire
new board time :?
tbh i just bought another sx500 mod from china today to replace this but seeing it again i need it working :/
