heya peeps, i’ve been looking all over for a tank to match my Vision E-Fire Wood Spinner, but i haven’t found anything yet. i’m thinking one that looks brassy or goldish is what i’m looking for. i haven’t moved up to the level of mods yet so a tank i can just screw on to the vision battery and be on my way would be preferable. any ideas?

You won't find any brass ones, because you don't want your juice anywhere near brass, but you can get gold coated ones like the Quasar, don't know if you have a place over there but here we have an outlet that will coat RBA/RDAs for you anything from Gold (brassy look) through 24k gold down to chromed SS and Polished SS, they only do the outside and also never the threads on Mods.

Protanks are made of brass, plated brass though

iBTanked Old Gold anodized endcaps and IBTipsy. Their tanks come in diameters of 15, 19, 22, and 25mm.

thanks. i saw that iBTanked in someone’s signature just a few minutes ago and have been checking them out. i think i might prefer that to all others i’ve seen since my spinner has more of an old gold dull sheen, so i’d like to get something that matches that over shiny gold. my only hesitation with iBTanked is that it looks like a bit more complicated procedure considering how customizable they are. i need to figure out what size best fits, and i’m not really sure what kinda coils they use. but i’m definitely leaning in that direction once i figure some things out.

They don't use coils, they use cartomizers. Pretty comparable in price to coils, and a lot less hassle and better flavor in my opinion.

Sorry, didn't notice this was an Ego thread when I gave dimensions. When I had an ego, I used the 19mm, which looks okay with a beauty ring. Now they have the 15mm ones, and I think that would work best.

Carto tanks are easy to use once you get the hang of it. Read this blog for more info:

thanks for the link. that helps a lot. never knew about these things before. gotta admit, even after 9 months there’s still so much to discover. that’s the main reason i didn’t have a problem kicking tobacco when i switched to vaping. this brave new world of vaping is much too interesting to go back to the boring, drab world of big tobacco.

get any of the kanger protanks and take some very fine grit sandpaper to the outside surface. the chrome look is just plated, underneath is a thin layer of copper, and under that is nice shiny brass. at that point you can polish it brite, brush it satin, patina it like an old penny. that puts the P in PV for sure. and they are similar size and form to your spinner, and they are easy with replaceable or rebuildable atomizer heads/coils.

if you just sand the outside surface your juice won't be in contact with (shouldn't be anyway) anything you sanded down.
i heard about brass possibly not being good with juice but im also not that worried because my water pipes in my house are all brass and copper.
