Do cartomizers taste similar to regular carts?

I've used the 510 carts that come with the ego and right now I'm using the tanks system. The taste just isn't there with the tanks like it was with dripping and old carts. My question is-do the cartomizers tend to have a good flavor (probably brand specific) like the 510's? or would I be wasting money I don't need to spend if I switched. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm sure this has been asked alot before, I just couldn't find a specific thread for it.

Yeah, cartos can impart a lot of flavor. The thing that a lot of people complain about with cartos is the taste of filler. I my opinion, carts taste better than cartos, cartos have better juice flavor than tanks give, maybe not as good as carts, but they are a lot less hassle because they hold more juice so they last longer between filling. The tanks are also less hassle because they hold a lot of juice, but my experience is that for some unexplained reason, they just don't give the flavor of the juice like carts and cartos. Now dripping.......... naw, I won't even go there. It's got a lot to do with just personal preferrence.

Ain't never tried cartomizers, but I can confirm that the Ego-Tank don't quite match the performance of 510 or the XL(jumbo).
Maybe I'll try the LR Tank someday...
Have you tried one of the XL atties? They kick .... over the tank.
Check out the XLs (the low resistance is really badass), they don't need refills as often, and they rock.
I still use 510s for certain flavors. The XL LR is my primary weapon. Love it.
Thanks for your service, Go Army!

I stubbornly stuck with attys and cartos for the first 7 months of vaping. Then, out of curiosity, I tried a box of Joye 510 cartomizers.

Then I asked myself why I waited so long to try cartos.

No more refilling every 30 minutes. Just once a day now (4 cartos). No more atty soaking in IPA. No more cutting up blue foam. No more dragging bottles of juice around with me everywhere I go.

Another plus: The taste and vapor production is better. More consistent output than attys too.

Definitely a convert to cartos now. Gonna try some Boges soon. I hear a lot of good about Ikenvape cartos too.

I have a 510 and use Cartomizers fairly often. I find that the taste of the juice is stronger in a carto, to the point where I don't really like my Totally Wicked tobacco flavoured cartos, but have just ordered a whole bunch of menthol cartos. I'll vape the tobacco carts and then thoroughly enjoy my new minty menthol ones!

Just an update: I tried some Ikenvape 510 cartos and glad I did. Good flavor and all, but weren't as good as the CE2's I ordered also. So far of all the juice delivery systems I've tried The CE2 V4 was best with the IKV510STD a very close second.

Yep those CE2's are hard to beat. Great flavor if you use clear juice. They tend to clog up a bit and lose flavor with darker juices.
