Do drip tips matter

Recently I have heard that certain drip tips can improve flavor. Specifically I have heard that 2 drip tips particularly improve flavor being the stock kayfun and the Hellfire drip tips. Both of these tips are either impossible to find, or don't work with all rdas / rbas.

Is this nonsense, or if not could someone recommend a drip tip that would improve flavor?

I hadn't heard that, but a good drip improves the vape....or, at least, my enjoyment of it is improved. I have been using these DS60 and 90's lately and the same ones bent. Now FT has them for about $3.00 (I paid like 12.50 and 20.00), so I ordered four more. Quite a conversation starter I've found. I know you want a better flavor. I like carto tanks on my Provari for my ADV. On weekends, like now, hard to beat some high end rba stuff with DIY. Made a nice Banana Nut Bread this morning. Sorry, so off topic, but just my two cents. YMMV. Best to you, welcome to the forum, congrats on quitting, all the best!

I prefer a cooler vape and have found that either metal, or a long tip can provide me with that.

And that is why I snatched up a handful of these 60mm stainless tips as soon as I saw them mentioned on ........'s.

I don't know if certain drip tips can improve, or diminish flavor, but I can tell ya that the wrong drip tip can certainly ruin the overall experience of vaping ... as I found out last night, lol. The drip tip was so big, and awkward feeling in my mouth, that it ruined the experience of vaping one of my favorite juices ... seriously. If I wasn't so .... retentive, I would have simply taken a better drip tip off of another tank and used it ... but no, I just suffered through the uncomfortable vape.

I don't know if a super-rare drip tip can improve flavor. Seems like one of those things the Vape Elitists spread around to make people jealous of their gear. I DO know from firsthand experience that a bad drip tip can make diminish flavor. Vaping is a lot like a gas engine. You need heat, you need fuel (juice) and you need air. Some drip tips don't allow for decent airflow and therefor mute the flavors. On the whole if you've got a tip with a sufficiently large hole you should be getting the same vape as anyone else. Really the different shapes are all about comfort.

You are probably correct. I think my rda setup hasn't been perfected yet and I'm looking everywhere for a solution. I also think I'm trying to get a warm vape from a chocolate juice without it tasting burnt.

My setup is awesome for fruit diy juices, but everything else tastes burnt if I pump up the volts for more flavor and a warmer vape.

I dont know about improving flavors but I know I will never use a plastic drip tip again. I love the looks of cherry vapes drip tips but Ive had them shatter when dropping my pv.The resultant vape without a drip tip for 3 hours while I waited for my shift to end was not fun.

Yeah, acrylic is pretty but not too durable. Delrin, on the other hand, is a hardcore material. I like my SS tips, but in the winter they tend to get gunked up. That's when I switch to Delrin.
