Do ecigs produce a spark that could possibly ignite compressed oxygen of the type used in hospitals and for home inhalation therapy?

Any mechanical switch will create a spark but the auto switch and manual switch both are sealed reducing the chance of combustion. But the heating coil if not kept wet can glow red hot much like a toaster. I do know of three people in our area that were chain smokers on oxygen that have CPOD and have switched over to ecigs. In 2 months they have reduced the amount of time they require oxygen therapy. They have not experience any issues with combustion of oxygen and are doing great.
I hope this helps.
Dan
