Do eGo cartos fit 8008 battery?

Yes and no.
The eGo808 is more traditionally known as the vGo, iGo or tGo and is often re-branded under other names.
The eGo is a fat battery with a 510 center connection and an additional set of outer threads, originally designed for a decorative cone. Traditionally, most eGo cartomizers and clearomizers utilize the 510 center connection, with a decorative come "skirt" built onto it to cover the cone threads. Some devices, like the T2 and T3 by Kanger, actually use the the eGo threading to attach to the battery. Some people have reported success in using these devices with an vGo-style battery, but there have been issues reported as well.

Opposite of what I need to do -- I can only use 808 batteries (can't balance an eGO) and want to use eGO cartos on an 808 battery.

510 threading is an atrocity -- I'm not about to buy anything with it.
I'm wondering if the cartos and clearos marketed as eGO808 will fit an 808 battery. I have no interest in buying and keeping track of adapters.
