I think after several weeks and several posts I have finally completely understand all this battery stuff and can recognize the batteries I have and what I need for protection to use them for high voltage. Also can recognize batteries I will buy in the future that I can use for high voltage that are protected. I went on e-bay the other day and bought some stuff the only problem is having to wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered. The Ultra-Fire RCR 123A protected batteries I have are alright mainly because of their small size but the 800 mAh is very annoying because I have to charge them at least once a day. I don't think I will buy them again just because of that reason alone. I have been looking at some of the 10440 and other sizes so since I am unsure what I will eventually decide to primarily use I got a universal charger that can be adjusted to any Li-ion battery and I think the charger itself has reverse polarity protection, overcharge protection etc. I have 4 of those unprotected Tenergy batteries that I bought the 2 PCB chips tom use with and the 2 batteries I bought have the PCB circuit protection chip built in the negative side of the battery. So I can use them in a high voltage mod as is. I uploaded the things I bought and just would like someone to clear them for use as I have stated earlier in this post. Thanks.

Their is no such thing as 4000 mAh 18650 batteries. False advertising there. 3100mAh is the highest True rating there is for 18650's. You will be lucky to get 2200mAh out of those BRC batteries, They are really low quality. What happens is the rejected batteries made for reputable companies get sold off to folks who lie like hell and slap a 4000 mAh sticker on them. Your much better off buying batteries of a reputable brand and paying a bit more. I learned this the hard way myself and bought some cheap china batteries off ebay. Out of the four only one worked for more then 3 weeks. Now i will only buy Japan or Korean made batteries They are well worth the extra cash.
