I thought that i would ask the battery GURUS a question or two. I was thinking of using this PCB with two IMR 18650 protected batteries wired in series and then use this charger. I know that the PCB and the protected batters is overkill (But I'm paranoid and they will be in a case that will not be easily opened) and would like to know that they are balanced.

So now to the questions

1. Will there be any conflict using the PCB and protected batteries both?

2. Will the charger I have chosen be sufficient and work properly with the PCB/batteries?

3. With that PCB is the power points load in and load out?

Thanks

in series and then use this charger.
That doesn't look a charger, just a dumb power supply.

You need something like this.

New 2-3S Lipo Battery Balance Charger 7.4v-11.1v with AC Switch Adapter | eBay

A541 - New IMAX B3 7.4v 11.1v 2-3S lipo Battery Balance Charger Similar B6 | eBay

Compact Battery Balance Charger for 7.4V- 11.1V Li-Ion Hobby pack | eBay

with two IMR 18650 protected batteries
Don't think I've ever seen protected IMRs.

This probably includes that same PCB/PCM and is ready to go.

Ok so I guess that I misunderstood the need for a smart charger. After doing a lot more reading I have realized that even with a PCB on my batteries I still need a charger that will provide the proper charging cycle. So if I use the suggested battery pack or two 18650's wired in series with a PCB (also i double checked the 18650's i have are not IMR) will one of the below work?

Universal Fast Smart TLP3000 1.5A Charger for Li-Ion / Li-polymer battery Pack (14.8V 4 cells)

Tenergy TLP-4000 Universal 1A Smart Charger for Li-Ion/Polymer Battery Pack (3.7V-14.8V 1-4 Cell)

Thanks for the help,
