Do I need to clean the phoenix atomizer?

So if it doesn't taste bad, and is working well, is there any thing that happens to them. I know gunk can build up on it, and the coil can break. But its never happened with the 32 gauge kanthal. I was changing the coil every week, but it seems pointless. I vape a variety of citrus flavors, I expect it should be cleaned.

I only clean mine if I notice a change in performance or taste. Otherwise, I'm with you mate, don't see the point.

You will see a rise in Ohms the dirtier the coils get and that would affect the performance. I usually just rinse with water, rinse with vodka, and dry burn the coil. Then fill up and enjoy.
