do i need to use a resistor in a 3.7v torch mod

Hello all been looking at Madog's torch mod and am getting all the bits i need only difference is i will be using a green master power on led and a second white one to indicate power to atty, will only be using single 18500 (After seeing the dangers of using stacked li ions) will i need resistors on both leds? any help much appreciated

All LED's require a resistor otherwise <poof>. I would advise protected li-ion battery too, worth the extra.

oops bad recall.....A resistor is necessary for an LED over 2V

You can wire two leds to one resistor but, since you aren't wanting to have them come on at the same time. You will definitely need a separate resistor for each one.
