alright so i have been vaping for almost a month now and i have been doing fine on meh 510... i had also been doing alright on meh 4072.. but then meh hubby went and messed up his atomizer somehow (i think i got him the wrong passthru?) and he ended up dewicking it but it still wouldnt work so we scrapped it and i gave him meh 4072 and bought an 801 atomizer for meh to use on the passthru i thought was wrong for the 4072... well i have had it for 4 days now and no matter what i do everytime i take a drag it burns meh throat sooo bad! meh 4072 never did this to meh.. but ever since this 801 i cannot take drags off of ANY pen styles without feeling like meh throat is on fire.. whats up? am i doing something wrong? how can i get this fixed as i LOVED vaping chocolate covered strawberry in meh penstyle and now i am missing it.. the flavor just doesnt sit well on the 510 so i am at a loss here!:(

The 801 model usually has higher ohm attys, producing a cooler vapor with more flavor, (seems to be what you like) so you would need to match the wattage your 801 was producing to vape the same. Would you know the ohms on the attys you have been trying on your PVs? Also are you using manual or automatic batteries? Manual allow you to let go of the button sooner for a cooler vape. :)

My 15-year-old niece types it...something like "text meh!" I don't see how it could be born of the internet since most internet slang is about shortening things, especially with the rise of texting. "Meh" lengthens "my" so it's against the general rule of "Teh interwebz."

Ahh see you have made the mistake of trying to make sense of something happening on the internet, notice that the term interwebz itself is longer than just calling it the internet lol.

Ok now that I helped hijack this maybe I can actually help the OP's question. Can you post links to where you got the pass-thru and atomizers from? it would greatly help us determining if what you are seeing is an issue with your equipment or just a matter of an atomizer and a power source not being paired correctly to generate the right amount of power.

"meh" is what i use for "me" its something i have done since i was in high school over 10 years ago... i just started doing it.. i make up meh own words like **huggles** for hugs and **kissles** for kiss and so on and so forth...

now to meh issue with this burnt taste... this is the passthru i have DSE801 USB Passthrough Steel - Manual Button

and this is the atty i bought

DSE801 Atomizer Steel

figured it would be the right one since its sold from the same place... i have a 4072 and it only gave meh issues in the beginning with the primer.. now its fine tho it leaks like crazy..do all the pen styles do this cause its really annoying and i am going through e liuid which is burning a hole in meh pocket... o i would also like to note i bought this pass thru for the 4072 since i couldnt find one specifically for it buy all it did was burn out meh atty and i couldnt get it to work anymore :( so i just gave the 4072 to meh hubbie and bought this atty for this passthru..but again.. the burnt taste :(

i have tried dripping directly and i still get the burning sensation in the back of meh throat which is horrible

If you are using a 801 atty it should have sufficient ohms for the 801 PT. The website doesn't make it clear if it's standard or low resistance, soooo I'm assuming standard. There could be two causes, the juice you are using has too much throat hit (very possible, meh I'm not a big TH fan) or you are holding the button too long and heating the atty too much.
Try just pulsing the button while you take a draw, see if there is any improvement. Or if possible try a different juice from a different vendor. :)
