i think that does help! easy to use? do the cartos/attys wear out? what best attys to use? who sells them?

They are incredibly easy to use. The life of the carto or atty depends on...well, the carto or atty and how you vape it. I do get longer life from my cartos with a bottom feeder as I don't "forget" to top off as I'm just pushing the bottle to get a fresh vape whenever the taste or vapor production prompts me to do so. I use Joye attys or the Vapage hybrid bottom feeder attys with mine too and they both work great.

I've tried/owned bottom feeders from a few places and the ones that Hogwart is making (search Hog's mods) are my very favorites and I use one of them daily. I have a variable voltage and a standard. Here's some shots:

I concur with BiancaMontgomery: cartos do seem to last much longer on bottom-feeders.

Reos, both mini and grand, come in different colors, both for the body and the door.

Five-volt operation is definitely an option for the Reo Grande: you use two shortie batteries. I don't know about the mini.

I don't wanna sacrifice pretty ;)

Still the Reos with their durability are definitely drawing my attention. And don't they have different colors anyway? Can it be vaped at 5v?

REO's are definitely durable in that it's made from a block of aircraft aluminum. People have dropped them from 20ft in the air and it still works, ran over them with trucks, dropped them in water, etc. It's almost an unstoppable mod in all aspects.

REO's also come in a variety of colors:

To expand on the differences between a bottom feeder and a gravity feeder:

BOTTOM FEEDER

*Bottom feeders use a feed tube that the juice feeds through from the bottom of the bottle through the 510 connection.
*You don't invert the mod to feed it. You lightly press on the bottle which pushes the juice through the feed tube. Then take a dry hit to wet the carto or atty.

GRAVITY FEEDER:

*There's no feed tube. Some have a chamber while others have a spoke of sorts that fit inside of the atty or carto
*You do have to invert it, press the bottle, bring it back to the standing position, press the bottle again or take a dry hit. Thus, feeding your carto or atty by using gravity.

Might not be the most eloquent explanation but, I tried my best. Yes I did LMAO

If you like hassle free vaping, first class construction and top shelf service, then you're going to love a Reo. I use my Mini when I go out on the town. It's stealthy and easy to transport. For home, work and long drives my Grand is my go to vaping buddy. As far as cost goes, I can honestly say I got what I paid for and more.

The Reos look like a solid quality product and at some point would consider one. I am fairly new to vaping and just started with a bottom feeder, the mailman brought it today. There are quite a few choices to be had and at price points for everyone. Since vaping is such a subjective thing I do not want to spend much in my search for my personal happy, satisfying vape.

I personally decided to go with a 3.7 bottom feeder from Krystal Mods, he, James, is here on the site. His work on my mod shows he cares about his product and customers. His mod is very clean, no glues or anything showing and his wires neat and secure. He will take the time to answer any questions, is well regarded, and completed and sent the mod within a week. I am very pleased and would buy from him again.

I am still working out the best frequency for squeezing the bottle without flooding or burning. It is just a matter of getting the hang of it. Changing or refilling the juice is very simple. Easy to cary around.

Good luck to you in your search.

I have to say again...LOVE MY HOG MODS :D Easy and beautiful, all win. The standard will vape at 3.7v, 5v or 6v depending on what batts you put in it. He also makes a VV version. I have both, use both and love both.

No, the GLV mini is 3.7v only. They do make the bigger 5v version though. :)

If you mean the REO mini then you can go to 6V with the 14250's. Although, you'll have to get a few sets of them since they're only 200mah batts. Which is roughly an 1 1/2 - 2hrs of vaping time.

Hog mods do look interesting though. Been checking them out recently. Probably gonna get one soon. Is he ever gonna come out with a metal version?

idk none of these look appealing to me. I couldn't watch all of the videos with the three in one because the music was irritating me.

Guess I'm done looking at bottom feeders. Altho at least with the juice. I can just switch my own juices out if I use attys instead of having to drip or waste cartos. I kina like that idea!!! I'll stick to my tube mods with tanks. Thanks for all the help y'all!!!

also what's the point of 3.7 v mods? My ego works just fine for that.

I doubt he'll do a metal version, he's kinda into the wood (that sounds so wrong!), but you'd have to ask him to be complete sure. He might prove me wrong. :)
