Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Go higher on the ohm... I like 0.8, 25-30 watts, great vape

Thats not even considered a high ohm , a high ohm to me is 2.0 lol, my favorite vaping range is 1.5 - 1.8 . I think many mistakenly think that the lowest possible ohm is the best and it often is not .

Never rule out going higher because it has surprised a lot of people who got into vaping thinking and hearing lowest ohm is what you want , thats definitely not the case imo.

Wattage matters, Ohms matter, Amps matter, everything put together matters.
The trick is to put all of these numbers together correctly so that you end up with a safe, satisfying vape.

The VTC Mini after a firmware upgrade is not 60w it's been upgraded to 75w, that's the very high end of what a single 18650 can do under a stressful load.
Your best best if you want to blow clouds is to read up on ohm's law and make sure you have a good battery, especially given that you'll have the option to drive a single 18650 to damn near close to it's breaking point. Grab a 30amp battery to be safe something like a Sony VTC4.

As said before:
.3 = .30 = .300 = .3000
.3 - NOT equal to - .03 - NOT equal to - .003

You want big clouds, do this, build on your nemesis 0.30 (no lower) if you have a 20 amp CDR battery if not build higher. Then buy some straight VG and vape it, you'll have clouds for days with the right dripper. When you start going lower, you need thicker wire and it takes longer to heat. Any box mod pushing below 100 watts probably isn't going to give you what you are wanting but be warned flavor does not always increase with bigger clouds. I'd study battery safety before anything else, you have to crawl, walk, then run or you end up on the news. Clouds are not just watts and low builds, it also takes an atty built for it and the right liquid. Many people that cloud don't use flavor or nic. when going for a fog bank, just straight VG.

Don't feel stupid. .3 vs .15 is meaningless unless you know what the unit of measurement. Is it thousandths of an inch or wire gauge size?

Teach a couple of vapers Ohms law and they think their electricians.

Only difference between you and them is they've been doing it a year or 2 longer. So like I said, don't feel stupid. You're not. Just less experienced.
