By the time I went to bed last night, my jaw was aching from puffing. The njoy needs a primer puff or to, then a drag. Plus, when a cart was empty, I made sure it was by puffing it for 10 minutes before I admitted defeat and changed it. :D I actually imagined myself in three months with huge jaw muscles and massive wrinkles around my lips. 8-o

But I only smoked 5 real cigs all day!

My tip would be to top off your carts with more e-juice after just a few puffs. That's what i do these days.

In another thread you say you are getting an M401... I don't know about the NJOY, but the M401 has a very light drag so this should not be a problem with it. Actually, until you get used to it, you may find it too light... if you attack it, it feels and sounds like sucking an empty straw. You need to puff slow and easy, the switch in the battery is VERY sensitive! This is the only downside of the M401 also, because the switch can be set off by very loud music, wind from a car window, etc.

rsngfrce - is there one that drags as easy, gives as much vapor, but doesn't have the wind problem? My husband is left handed and drives with the window down.

Thank you!

Yowzaa, that is the million dollar question I haven't got an answer for yet myself. My one real problem with the M401 so far is that if I vape it in the car with my sunroof open (which it normally would be) it tends to stick on and then shutdown for 2 minutes to cool off, then tastes bad for a short while because it got so hot. I can use it in the car if I am CAREFUL, but I LIKE MY WINDOWS OPEN! I have ordered a Janty Dura-C which has a manual switch, I'm hoping that will work better in the car, but there have been a lot of reports of this model having problems with leaky carts, so I don't know yet...

Welcome to the forums and e-cigs Valie.
It definately takes some getting use to. It really does depend on your preference. My partner loves her 401. I hated mine and gave it to her. I love my dura she didnt like hers and gave it to me. I started out with the 901and she started with the 801. They all have different draws. I still think the 901 is probably the best starter e-cig. I never noticed a problem with it while driving with the windows or sunroof open. I have never tried the NJoy so I cant speak to it.
My best advice is be prepared to get really annoyed with it at one point but if you stick with it you will get the hang of it. Get some juice to top off with. Also think about a USB passthrough for while your at your computer. Then you wont have to worry about batteries. And always have spare parts!

Jaw aching doesn't sound normal for a decent atomizer unless you've been using this one for a few weeks and it's all clogged. Njoy is just a normal generic pen or supermini, shouldn't do this off the shelf.

Puffing the cart after it's empty will shorten the life of your atomizer, if not burn it out completely. Also you're more likely to be drying and overheating the cart fibers and inhaling them. Yeecch!

You'll get there. :) Good luck!
