drip 3 drops with a LR atty and get about 3 to 4 good hits with my ego. When I use a normal 510 atty I get 7 - 10 hits off 3 drops.
When I cart, I fill two up at days beginning. The first one is for my coffee/morning vape. Second is whatever I feel like. I don't really run out, because I keep topping them off. Then I wash those and fill new ones for the next day.

I can't safely drip with my normal PV M401 because even the manual batteries have a hole in the middle of the threaded end so juice could get in and kill the battery. Also I have never seen a drip tip for a 401 so I'd have to use a cut-off empty cart.

So
I use carts on my M401. It has small carts so on a full fill maybe 6 drops under the stuffing and couple on top. I use blue foam stuffing.

I uses cartos on a KR808D-1 (though I am going to try 401 cartos and 510 cartos on my 401 and 510)

I drip with a 901 atty and drip tip on my KR808D-1 manual battery. Gonna try same with an adapter and 510 atty because the 901 atty is a fairly soft and airy hit when dripping. If the atty is dry I drip 3 to start then 1-2 as it gets dry again. I really don't know how many drags I get of a drop or two. Seems like more when it's a strong-flavored vapory juice like Gourmet Vapors.

I prefer dripping and usually get 7-10 very decent draws from my two drops, but I am using the de-bridged attys. I will never use anything but de-bridged again! I get mine freedomsmokeusa and they are amazing, because not only are they awesome but they are in the same state so shipping is soo quick! lol I thought dripping on the go would be a pain, but with the 3ml bottles its really easy. Freedomsmokeusa carries those as well for super cheap :)

Have you considered using a 401 to 510 adapter so you could use a 510 cart/drip tip? I understand the adapters a bit large, but it shouldn't be too bad for dripping. I noticed that there is a listing of adapters in the mod section of this forum. I don't have it at-hand at the moment, but the author offers SEVERAL adapters for various purposes. Of course, if you have spare junk lying around, you could probably whip up an adapter yourself. The 510 and 401 threads are the same, just reversed - the 510 battery is female while the 401 battery is male. Just connect two old atty threads back-to-back and you have a 401 to 510 mod.
