new to vaping.

I purchased a vision fatboy 1300 mah (non vv) battery with the intent to just buy the blu cartomizers i could pick up at walgreens
well today I went out and purchased an evod tank because was liking vaping and wanted something that could hold more juice and last longer.. and figured it would be cheaper.

well.. holly hell does the juice run out of the evod very quick. it was about 1/3 empty on my hour ride home from the store.

I know the evod is a smaller tank but the blu cartomizer holds about 1.2 and that seemed to last way longer than the juice in the evod does. I think I may have been hitting too hard and have eased up and that seemed to help a little. And i am hoping i am burning through a lot of juice because of me just wanting to play with my new toy.

2 questions I have.. i purchased a pack of 1.8 ohm replacement atomizers.. I am thinking I should exchange them for the 2.5 ohm atomizers because the 1.8 are gonna burn through the juice even quicker right?

and do I need to empy the tank at night or can i just unscrew it from the battery and leave it sit on my dresser?

1) The 1.8 burns through more juice because it creates more vapor. This leads to more flavor, throat hit, and an overall more intense vaping experience. If juice conservation is more important, than yeah, get the 2.5 ohm. I wouldn't recommend it though.

2) No need to empty your tank at night, or ever for that matter, unless you want to clean it for some reason.

On a fixed voltage device, all else being equal (Time that you hold the button down, how much you puff, etc.), yes, you can go through juice faster with a 1.8 ohm coil than a 2.5 ohm coil. But you MAY find that you won't be taking as many puffs on the 1.8 or holding the button down as long because the vaping experience will change by lowering the resistance. It's really all sort of subjective. Just experiment and see what suits you the best, really.

Nope, you don't need to empty the tank. Your juice will be just fine left in the tank.

I don't even unscrewin mine unless I need to charge. And I'd stick to the 1.8. I didn't even think mine were 1.8 ohm till I checked if that tells you anything so the 2.5 might not be as satisfying to you. Plus you can rebuild them and change the ohm rating if you really wanted to. It'd save you some cash to

I noticed the exact same thing, the evod burns through juice faster then any other things I've used yet (protank, vivi nova single and dual coil, coatomizers single and dual coil). But I must say this it is the best vape to me, such a full, flavorful and rich vape. Just the nature of the beast I guess.

For a non VV stick with the 1.8ohm you'll get the best results.

nah, you don't need to empty the tank I leave all my tanks stored with juice in them, just prop them upright and you're good to go. If you lay them down some juice might dribble out.
