Do you feel proud about what you have learned about vaping, devices, systems, liquids,.....?
Don't get me wrong, I do feel proud of this knowledge that keeps me helthier than before....but at the end of the day, for any non smoker or vaper, this knowledge is no more than crap.
Will you proudly tell a relative or friend (a non smoker) that you are a master using a PV?

A master? No.. proud that I've quit smoking bc of ecigs? Hell yes I'll tell people.
I don't think all I've learned is crap, either.
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm
I too am no master but I am proud. Proud that I have a little knowledge of this thing that probably saved my life after 35 years of smoking. I lost a close brother-in-law and a friend to lung cancer from smoking cigarettes.

What they said; also to be a part of something new and growing. Part of a shift in conciousness yeah I am proud

I am proud of myself for getting off the analogs. As far as the knowledge part is concerned...I don't think I would call it pride. I have a pretty addictive personality and also love to tinker with things. Vaping has given me a new hobby that I have found to be enjoyable and interesting. I am excited about the knowledge I have gained but I wouldn't say proud of it necessarily. :)

Basically what I was going to say. I am proud of being able to share my knowledge on the subject and help people get off of the death stick through vaping

Knowledge of any kind is awesomeness. I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish from vaping. I've learned about nicotine, vg, pg, and flavoring. I found a real world application for algebra (ratios, mixing, etc for DIY). I've learned some basic concepts of electricity, power, and chemistry (DIY mixing, tank-killing flavors, and batteries).

Think about what we get to experience outside of the actual action of vaping: sub-culture, cultural phenomenon, commerce (supply / demand and market pricing), networking (ECF-ing), etc...

On top of all this, think about how much critical thinking we have done to take the plunge to get off the analogs (a big step) and to develop a vaping style or preference (carto vs clearo, PV vs APV, function vs fashion, etc).

Of course, some of this is a continuation of what I already know, but this knowledge wouldn't have continued to develop if I had stuck to the analogs. Those are too simple: fire, inhale, exhale.

I absolutly feel proud. 28 years of trying to quit!!! I used to get complaints about my appt neighbors from my smoking. That made me feel bad, The old lady across the way was getting my smoke smell in her appt. I could see that happening, she was right.

Now the new people next to me are complaining ( IDK ) I have not smoked since dec 14th 2012. I am off the hook. That is what i told the appt manager. She is allso a quiter she said. I was so proud to say no not me. Yes I am proud!

Am I proud? No, not really. Am I more knowledgeable? Yes, of course. Mostly due to all of the great info here on ECF. Am I a master? No, not even close. But I now have some understanding of vaping and what it involves. In the beginning I was completely lost so I've gained ground in that respect.

I don't aspire to be a master, guru, or Grand Poobah of vaping. Just knowing that I'm no longer smoking, no longer contributing to BT's coffers, and hopefully healthier, is good enough for me.

Proud enough to stand up for friends that just quit by starting vaping then having them flamed on a facebook post because they didn't go cold turkey or try eating a navel orange every time they get the urge to smoke. WTH? Who does that?

My friend was on a "ladies that quit" page on Facebook and a few people told her those ecigs are bad. I replied, considering she uses pure vg liquid with a low nicotine count it doesn't have anything worse than a cigarette and she cuts down on hundreds of carcinogens. I don't think they liked me....oh well. I wasn't going to let them trample her for being 2 months smoke free after her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and her sister couldn't quit but wouldn't try an ecig.

I am only proud of going a year without smoking.

I would not call myself a vapor master. I know some things. I would say I know enough to keep of cigarettes, and to help a few others along in their journey.

As to others thinking it is crap, since when does a lion concern himself with the opinions of a sheep?
