Over the edge...
My pride is that I lost my worries about vaping in public. Damn thing looked weird, got me weird looks and a lot of questions I really couldn't answer intelligently. Cigarette haters everywhere. Can't say I blame 'em. Tried stealth vaping and felt like a fool. Now I vape openly everywhere ( see my sig). Not worried about it anymore. I'm proud when someone remarks or asks me about it. "No tobacco in this thing, just nicotine". I carry vendor cards in my wallet and spare carts in my truck and pockets. "You smoke? Here ya go bro, (young lady, sir, etc.) let me drip a few drops of this nicotine juice (24 or 30mg), put a new cart on, hold that button down for a couple seconds and try it...":D A friend of mine did that for me a couple of years ago.

My latest vaping secret was that I stealth vaped in an aisle seat on an Amtrak train with a provari and a lavatank. Only the guy in the seat next to me noticed. My biggest secret is that while my fiance now knows how many APVs I have (let's just call it over 30) but he has no clue as to how much juice or how many tanks I have....and until he moves here...that will remain my secret.

My biggest vaping pride is the friendships and relationships I have made on these forums, on VapeTV, and in the Vaping
Twitterverse....including my fiance who I met on twitter by asking a vaping question and he answered it. I have made friends that will be lifetime friends.....actually they have become family.

Oh Charmed! Damn, best post so far! First off, over 30?!?!? Wow! Now you know you need to share some pics of some of those! But I am dying now to know your secret that will remain yours! How much juice does a kid have???? Lol.
Now, believe it or not, I do not have a twitter account, and never even thought about that being an outlet for vapers! Man, we're starting to be all over the place, and I Love It! And I have to agree that I truly do not believe I have ever met as many awesome people as I have in the vaping community! I think we all share a pride and bond in something that has been life-altering in a great way for us. Even though we are not a small few much anymore, we are still pioneers in something that I think we all know is not a fad, but the future!
And last but not least, Thank You for your avatar, that is something I have many personal experiences with.

Okay, are you diving with your PV? Cause if so, you have my vote for the best PV pic, and most exotic place to ever vape! Well done!!! And I feel the same way about being proud about it in public. I have actually been surprised at some of the positive feedback I have gotten from people I would think would bash it. And like you, I also always have my favorite vendor cards in my wallet that they end up being happy to take off my hands! I don't know how many strangers I have converted to V-Verts (as I have come to call them Thanks to "Iffy"), but I know I just got number 5 at work today to order an Ego-C and some juice from my vendor! So far I am on a confirmed one a month that I for sure know of! And so far the other 4 have stuck with it for months now! Awesome pride buddy!

Okay, I am hearing some fantastic stuff on here, and replying as much as I can which I love to do. But I should take a moment to throw one out there myself for ya. I know I do not have a large supply of PV's compared to some. And my juice is not over-stocked for various reasons. But there is some stuff I do that I often wonder is odd? I spend all of my free time on here, as well as youtube and other media surrounding vaping. I have had vivid, almost "wet dreams" about doing things whilst vaping (if you know what I mean). I bite my tongue to not talk about it 24/7 to friends and family for fear of them disowning me (as I've been threatened). I often draw a storefront with a cool name and a list of the PV's and accessories I would sell. Names and flavors of juices, like octopus, alligator, and farm fresh eggs (no crab juice, been done). Lol. I need to either try to open a brick and mortar store and sell the stuff, or seek a professional (another one) to help me! Haha! But, I usually just say to myself that if it keeps me off the stinky's and out of trouble, who cares!

My vaping pride is that I vape openly and proudly anywhere and eveywhere now. I try to be courteous about it when i am in some public places. Also i try to answer peoples questions if they and and im never worried about getting sick so if anyone is interested enough i will offer them my silver bullet to give it a try.

I too like to vape without feeling goofy about it. I will admit there are those times when I am around smokers or next to someone at a stop light that I know is gawking at me that I hesitate at first. And I don't do it outside of the bathroom at a restuarant or in someones car or house without asking first. But I really have never ate anything without asking in the same situation either, so it really doesn't have anything to do with a smoking link or anything. And I try to be excited about answering questions, I love to talk about it anyway so it works out. But some people I will give a faster more generic answers than others for certain reasons.
The funny thing is, is at first I let everybody suck on my tube if they wanted too. I was so proud I didn't care about getting sick or anything. However, I have laid off of that more now. Not because of loss of pride, or even about getting sick much. But rather I have come more possesive and concerned about my ussage of juice. Man, that stuff has become my liquid gold! Lol.

I justify purchases by saying to myself "I would have spent this much on cigarettes anyway, and this will last me longer."

Probably not the only one here that does that, but hey, it works for me :p

Yea, this is right on! I think we as vapers forget real quick how much we spent on stinky's. It really bothers me when other people, smokers or not, will ask what I paid for a mod. When I tell them they say I might as well had kept smoking. Quickly I return by saying that they must want to put me in an early grave then? That shocks em sometimes! Duh, even if I spent as much or more, did we forget the health benefits here people! Geez. Lol.

My vaping pride is a big one now. Big party weekend for me in Orlando just ended. Lots (and I do mean LOTS) of drinking. Lots of pool parties outdoors with lots of people smoking. And I didn't have a single one. Really didn't even have any cravings for one. I just vaped away. One of my favorite vendors made the switch some time in the last year. And man does she look healthier. I remember last year she was coughing and wheezing away the whole time. Met a few vapers with basic look alikes. 808s.

Lol as a newbie to vaping I'm not very "out there" yet . Especially since I didn't smoke before (just the nic free stuff now) so although my fella isn't bothered one bit not done it out in the open really just in my car.

I do get a thrill from vaping and knowing I will at some point soon. In my job, even a stealth vape isn't do-able. Then again I am addicted to the actual tastes not the nicotine... so I can go without easily.

I get a real buzz by having a goodly few stealth vapes in places where its absolutely verboten to smoke-
Of course the PV is back in my bag after a few puffs,
Huh ! Smoking!? Me?- I dont even have a Lighter.. how can I be smoking for heavens sake?"

Well, I am fairly new to vaping. My pride is that I have gotten my wife on board and now she loves vaping. She was on the fence before.

I do vape in public sometimes. It was easier with my ego battery but now that I have a Vtube and find myself being a bit more self conscious.

Today was an interesting experience- I took my checking account done to .53 cents to get a new 2.5ohm cartomizer for my new Vtube (only had the 1.5ohm before). It's all good because I spent that money on a cart instead of a pack of cigarettes (which is what I WAS going to do) and I haven't had a cigarette all day! I think I am done with them now.

Tomorrow my checking account will be re-filled thanks to direct deposit from work and I plan to drive 30 minutes to a B&M location and pay more for a tank set up on my Vtube than I would have paid ordering it online because I don't want to wait for the next 5 days to receive it! lol

I know all to well about draining the account to get my "vape fix!" Lol.
