Will post pix of mine, when I get some batts for my camera. Made it out of some nylon sleeving and a velcro strap I had laying around. Dead stupid simple to make, and it's somewhat adjustable for different batt and atty combos. Basically invert the tube to form a pouch of suitable depth, fold over excess at top and secure with velcro to form a loop to pass your cordage through. Been meaning to take pix and write up a little "how-to". Work has finally gotten busy for the first time in months, so all that free-time stuff got put on the back burner.

For my Ego, I made my own very simple lanyard. I bought a name tag lanyard at Staples, removed the pincer type clip that came on it, and added slipped a plumbing O ring onto the metal ring of the lanyard. It holds it very snug, the Ego has never fallen off, and is just a simple, very inexpensive way to get the job done. It really looks like it was manufactured for it.

I may add a dangly bling, but I want to be cautious that I don't add something that will scratch the Ego.

Honestly, I saw more ornate case style lanyards, but this one I built for about $1.50 works just great!

IMG_1475.jpgI am planning to knit one. No pics yet, but it's a simple design. Or you could get a pencil grip slip, poke two holes and string some rope or even a nice chain through it. I use it for the Taryn spin as well. In the picture, I have it attached to the cart, but it fits great with a drip tip. For better security, you could connect two grips, one on the top and one on the bottom.

I posted a long time ago, but still had the pics. I usually keep mine in my pocket, however with riding season approaching will be wearing it around my neck out on the bike.

Simple deal, use a camera lanyard, usb memory lanyard or something similar and put the loop end between the cone and the battery. Works a charm. I need to test it with an eGo-T though...
