Dumb question i know, but I am think of maybe trying dripping out but not really wanting to build or rebuild coils. I currently have Ego and IPOW batteries and EVOD and Protanks.

What is the simplest, easiest to use (and not terribly expensive) way to get into dripping?

You could always look into pre-built coils if are adverse to wrapping them yourself. Toss them into a magma or hobo clone and it makes for a cheap and very easily assembled RDA. You will still need to pick up a way to test you ohms once you put it together. Never trust the label unless you watch it tested in front of you.

No you don't have to rebuild, regular traditional atomizers are the answer. Something like these.-> Atomizers - Cisco Spec Bridgeless Atomizers - Avid Vaper
So do these atomizers come with coils? Are the coils replaceable? Do i need to put a drip tip on top?
Here is a great blog post on dripping by ECF member The Ocelot if you just want to give dripping a try without going the rebuildable route. Drip, Drip, Drip - The Sound of Dripping.

Yes they come with coils. They do not have replaceable coils, the whole thing gets file 13'd, when it's bad you use a new one. They can be cleaned and dry burned though, so they can last a good while. Yes you need a drip tip that'll fit on the atomizer your using, a 510 style in your case.

The coils are not replacable,
A standard drip tip will work.
I use mine for sampling juices I've bought on-line to determine if steeping is needed before filling a tank.
I clean my Smok tech Bridged atomizer with everclear. A few drops of everclear, shake and blow it out and dry burn a couple of times.

To answer the original question, dripping existed long before there was anything rebuildable that you could buy, and there are plenty of us that switched to rebuildables because they stopped making our favorite dripping atomizers.

I wasn't looking for a "better vape" when I started looking into RBAs, I just wanted to continue to enjoy the vape I already liked.

cheapest easiest way to get into dripping is to buy a mod and rda. there are alot of places that sell premade coils as well. i would head to fasttech .com and search and research a couple mods.... the kraken, nemisis , poisiden, and then research your rda s . fastetch sells clones but there is nothing wrong with the clones at all. they sell the premade coils there 50 count for 5 bucks. you can get a mod and rda with coils for 40- 50 dollars.

I picked up one of these to do a full review on next month. Short version: it works, but there's enough fiddling and expense that if you want zero hassle or tweaking a cartomizer might be the best way to go, and if you want a little tweaking & hassle a cheap RDA and a pack of 50 rebuilt coils from fasttech will give tons more options.

I already rebuild my Kanger coils and thought it would work well to tasting new juices or stealth vaping.

Coils, whether stock or rebuilt, should last a long time if you take care of them. I have some Joye 510s that are 2 years old. Good quality debridged/dewicked are the easiest stock attys to keep clean, since there is no wire mesh or wick to hold onto residual flavors or a burnt taste. You have to drip more often, like every 2-4 draws (depending on your style), since there is nothing to hold the juice, but the coil will last until the wire wears out. Even with RBAs, a well made, well maintained coil should only need to be rewicked for months. You'll find that most people build coils earlier because they want to, not because the coil has failed. The RTA I'm vaping right now has a coil in it I built in early summer.

Y'all have been a big help. So if i get some of these listed at 1.5ohms i could use them on my 1600 mah IPOW 2 battery with is variable 3 - 15 ?

    https://www.vaporkings.com/mobile/product.aspx?ProductCode=510-ATOM-BULKPACK-LOWRES-BLACK&CartID=1

Or if i get these listed at 2.2ohms i could use them on my "fixed" ego and evod 650 batteries ?

    https://www.vaporkings.com/mobile/product.aspx?ProductCode=510-ATOM-BULKPACK-STAINLESS&CartID=2

Do i have that part correct? Just screw them on the battery and drop a few drops in the atomizer. Can i use the drip tip on my Pro Tank 2 or Mini Protank 2 and just stick it on top and fire away?

I know these are basic questions but this does get confusing

Yep, a removable standard drip tip will work on a 510 atomizer. I use the drippers for sampling DIY and just swap a drip tip over.

So when sampling out of something like that how do you get the previous flavor out. Do you burn it till completely dry? Almost dry? Can i tell if it is dry by sound or just taste?

Also would the 1.5 omhs be a better bet than the 2.2?
