Do you keep boxes? For how long?

I keep all my mod boxes.

I usually keep all my boxes with any spare pieces it may come with in them. That way if I sell or PIF then the new owner has it all there with any info it came with. Just helps out too when I need to replace an O ring or something, I don't have to dig around and try to find one that fits correctly.

I have one nautilus mini box but that's it. I lost my iStick one ages ago and now I can't afford more boxy things even my liquid comes in a plastic bag!

I keep boxes. At least until the wife decides to do one of her "big clear outs". Then anything that hasn't been used in the last 3 hours gets dumped! (I blame her mother)

I used to save packing material, boxes etc. for small E-Bay sales , then I moved and don't buy gear like I used to so my box collection has gotten dismal, I have attie and mod boxes but shipping material/ boxes are scarce

I keep boxes if it is required for a return or warranty repair/replacement or if it is recommended to or safer to transport in the original box....

I still have all of the boxes for every part I bought for my first pc build, every cell phone I've had the last 8 years, both of my mechs, every digital camera, my 65" TV, ps3, Wii, etc....
I haven't really bought alot of vape gear that came in boxes worth keeping....

I keep all my boxes my stuff comes in because it usually has the Authenticity
number for the mod or tank or what ever on it. Then if I sell it later
Whomever buys it knows it is Authentic.

I keep all my boxes, and use them for when I have to ship something or package a birthday / holiday present.

I have almost a dozen cigar boxes that I use to store my assorted vaping gear. Some are dedicated to mods, some are dedicated to atomizers, and some are dedicated to spare parts that I put in small labelled plastic bags (and in bags of bags for parts of the same item or product family of items). I do keep what few boxes that I get with vaping gear (most of the stuff that I purchase comes without a box) but that's probably because I have strong pack rat tendencies (one of these days I need to throw out a huge VHS collection that contains TV shows that are readily available on Netflix, not to mention that I no longer have a working VCR). I mostly purchase mechanical mods or RBAs that don't come with manuals and I keep all of my spares in my aforementioned cigar boxes, so I really don't need the empty boxes that I've been collecting.
