do you label your carts?

I am pretty new to this whole thing. I have about 5-6 carts that i have lying around that i have tried different flavors with. How do you guys keep the carts straight with what type of juice you have in them? do you just mix the flavors if you grab one and it doesn't hit, do you just put in any flavor or what? I guess im just asking is there some type of "wait until they are dry " method to putting in a new flavor or do you have to try to put the same juice that was in it previously?

If you reuse a carto , try to refill it with a complementary flavor for best results (if you don't have the same flavor)
The Brother PTouch label maker is one of the best ways to label your cartos batteries and bottles. You can pick the up fairly cheap if you shop around a bit.

I use cartos and I try to use either the same e-liquid or one that complements the previous flavor. I don't label them, I just go by the smell.

I don't know much about carts, but I boil my cartos and then let them dry overnight to clean them.

I've been using a red sharpie marker to write the initials for the juice flavour on my cartos. You have to look closely to see it which I don't mind, because I wanted to avoid seeing the labels on them.

LOL I only use a couple of flavors so it works great for me. I never could get the hang of DIY I tried several times and ended up with just a mess!

Question - are you actually using carts (cartridges that push onto/into an atomizer) or are you using cartomizers aka cartos (combined cart and atomizer in one piece that screws onto the battery)?

For KR808D-1 cartomizer I use the Vapor4Life colors and just vaguely color-match what I have in them. And I always use white for my vanillas (and even then I screw up if I am not paying attention!)

For my 510 manual and Riva 510 I use Boge cartos in black, white and tan. I rarely use the white since I am vaping my vanillas in the KR8 but if I do use one I will use colored permanent markers to signify what is in it. I would like a pack of many color colors of Sharpie extra finepoint markers. I use tan for RY4 (caramel vanilla tobacco) and black for my normal cocoa tobacco.

If your carts all all the same color, some ways to mark are map dots, colored orthodontic rubber bands (see Ebay neon braces bands). paint markers, labels.

I've only gotten a couple of flavors so far so labelling carts (or cartos) hasn't been necessary but I do label my batteries and atomizers with a little dymo I've had forever... kinda had to cause I kept getting them confused and charging the same battery two or three times before realizing it was already full!

I also label all my extracts and tinctures with it even-though I haven't tried diy'ing anything yet!

I just put my 5 favorites on the coffee table, it's not hard to remember 5 different ones. All the others just go into a box and I hopefully can identify 'em by smell. If I can't, just grab a different one. I think I'm gonna get that labler (Brother PTouch label maker). I tried writing on the condom cap with a Sharpie but that wiped off (permanent my ...). I like that avatar, oldsoldier; I can just hear Ermie screaming orders, hehehe.

thanks for the suggestions guys, i have the SS cartomizers that came with my package and writing on them doesnt work. I really like the colored tips though, i think i will order some of those.

That's an awesome idea with the nail polish. Unfortunately, I never got too in to painting mine. Guess you could always go in to a cosmetics store and use the free samples. I just bought one of those large bead containers from the craft store. The regular sized compartments are big enough to fit a small bottle of juice(all I'll be buying until I figure out what I like) and some carts easily. It's also got slides in it so you can make the compartments bigger to organize your batteries and whatever else.

Used to, used a Brother PTouch, but I've settled down finally to a favorite flavor and have been sticking with it about 6 months now.
