Ok now ive read all the cleaning atomizer threads i just dont know how safe i feel putting it in all these chemicals so im trying to stay with water. Now i ordered tons of flavors from different places and want to try them but i feel like when i switch between juices they are mixing with the flavors from the other juices in the atomizer.(i am using fresh carts for each and filling the carts with the new liquid). How does everyone switch between eliquids while still getting the new flavor.

Also when cleaning the atomizer do you have to let it completely dry before using again? and can you run warm water directly on the wick of the atty? Or any other info that could help would be awesome. Im relativly new to vaping and just started filling my own carts yesterday. Also if anyone could tell me the best way to fill the carts so they dont leak? thanks i know that was alot haha

If I'm going to a different tobacco flavor, or one that goes with the old flavor, i just use a new cart filler. If I'm going say from tobacco to pina colad, I rinse the atty in white vinegar, then hot water, blow out and vape sans juice until i get a hint of dry atty taste, then, add juice, prime atty and enjoy.

If it's a similar-tasting flavor (like going from strawberry to raspberry or something), I just switch. No cleaning.

Sometimes if the flavors are a bit different, but I can't be bothered to really clean it, I will just put a drop of unflavored PG on the atty and take a few drags of that to help "clear" the last flavor out. It's not perfect, but if it's not a flavor that really sticks to an atty, or clashes with the next flavor you want to use, it works well enough to me.

For cleaning, I have always used the 70% isopropyl alcohol soak, and set to dry overnight. It evaporates completely - there's no residue.

But plenty of people do just rinse with warm water and blow it out. That's a perfectly viable way to do it. I would think you would want to let it dry for a while - lots of water kills the vapor production and taste.
