Do you like menthol crystals???

So, I'm thinking about getting some menthol crystals. I'm just curious what they taste like. Are they pretty good? I used to be a Marlboro menthol light smoker and I really miss that menthol flavor. I tried mint e-liquid and I don't like it. It tasted too sweet. Then I bought some lorann creme de menthe flavoring thinking I could get it to be more menthol like. Stupid me! It tasted like I was vaping mouthwash or something.

It sounds like the menthol crystals are the way to go. I just wanted to know who likes it, why do you like it, what is a good diy recipe for menthol crystals, etc..

Thanks for the thread...I'm wondering too. Have yet to find a menthol I like and I was a menthol smoker..

I bought creme de menthe too...I'll keep that in mind, what a bummer...maybe mix with chocolate and get a choco-mint juice?

I used a couple of drops of the creme de menthe in a 4ml bottle of mint. maybe that's why it tasted bad. It woud probably be better mixed with another flavor. I'm just kind of scared to use it again.

Well I have tried the menthol crystals and really like them. I was a hard core menthol smoker for 36 years. I got mine on Ebay. Don't buy a huge bag. A little dab will do ya. I'm dating myself, I know. I took a small dropper bottle, put some juice in it, put 3 tiny menthol crystals in it, sealed it tight, put that bottle in a larger glass jar and ran extremely hot water over it for several minutes then filled jar with hot water and let it sit for about 5 minutes till the menthol crystals dissolve. Try it first by adding a few drops on a cart and see if you like the strength. If you do then you know the amounts for the strength you like. Then you can add it to a bottle of juice as needed. It really adds a nice fresh menthol kick to juice that you think needs it.

I like the crystals as they seem to have a true menthol taste. I got a small bag of them 1/4 oz from Juicy Liquid for $1.50. I put about 4 shards in a 10 ml bottle and let them melt, took a couple hours.

I got mine from Juicy liquid too. Not only great menthol flavor, but adding a little to other flavors give you a different taste. I have tried them in Riskee, and Redbull and love it.
Like Jo said a little goes A LONG way!

I cut my TW menthol with VG and menthol crystals. Brill. Just let it stand for an hour and they will melt into the fluid. Try a little at first then add more if needed. Just another way of using them.

If you definitely want true menthol flav as well as control over the amount..Then crystals are the way to go.. I've never been a menthol smoker so it surprised me that I gravitated toward the mint/menthol flavors.. And like Mace said, adding just a touch of it to other flavors really works..I made an apple/cranberry mix tonight then added one drop of the menthol..You could barely taste it in the background..It made it for lack of a better word..crisp.
