I see merits to both plastic (typically LDPE) and glass bottles.
Plastic is easier to dispense, usually with a small orifice tip and squeeze the bottle. It's probably safer (and cheaper) to ship as it won't break as easily as glass.
But we know that some liquids/flavors, and maybe even nicotine, will interact with plastics (cracked tanks?). And long-term storage/steeping has me concerned about leeching plastic chemicals into the liquid. Is this a concern to you?
Glass bottles are usually better looking, and the built-in squeeze-bulb droppers are fairly convenient for dispensing. No worries with the liquids reacting to glass. But the glass bottles are more expensive, heavier, and costlier to ship. So they're typically included with premium liquids that carry a premium pricetag.
So which do you prefer, plastic or glass?
Would you pay extra for glass? If so, how much?
Thanks!
