Do you prefer your PV to be mostly metal or plastic?

Assuming this is just a matter of aesthetics/personal preference thing, do you prefer:

1. metallic finish
2. high quality (colored) plastic
3. doesn't matter?

Just like Samsung Vs Apple, some people thinks metals gives a more high end feel, I wonder if this is true for PV as well?

Well designed metal enclosures will generally outlast plastic for these devices. Most of the time I prefer metal for this reason. Of course plastic can easily be molded into complex shapes and that can be interesting too.

I'll go with metal first and plastic second.

Metal can take a fall, and generally looks better. Would love to see some kevlar and carbon fiber though.

I would prefer a strong carbon metal, perhaps Japanese or American Steel. Japan makes their blades with a strong and durable hybrid/carbon metal. Idk anything about their PV's but I imagine they're durable up the ..... The idea of plastic doesn't appeal to me because I also think "fiddley" material. But yeah, metal with a durable coating for the color

I prefer either of these equally over plastic, which is brittle and cracks too easily.

When I started I hated the stainless steel Joye Egos and much preferred the rubberized coatings. I guess I just wasn't used to the slidey feel of metal. Now I'm used to it and it doesn't slide (have no idea why) so much so its okay.

I have an aversion to plastic entirely due to the risk of BPA poisoning, which has been shown to feminIze men, not that there's anything wrong with that, just a personal choice.
