Do you prefer your undead with or without tentacles?

Personally I think the tentacles add character and make the undead more diverse in an ever changing post apocalyptic world..

I think we are going to need to start having some sub-categories. I myself am planning for the normal, run of the mill, George Romero type zombies. Tentacles, hybrids, mutants and other types of Resident Evil zombies should have their own category. Maybe "gamer zombies?"

Yeah, there aren't too many non-Romero type zombies that we can expect to defend against. Sprinting zombies would be tough and once you start approaching nominal intelligence ones... It starts getting harder to not 'give in' and accept eternity munching on the stockades.

I just don't understand what the profit would be from investing so much money creating mutants. That's what they would be, not zombies. Zombies are just reanimated bodies, not supervillains. The living dead. Walking corpses. Anything else, there is no amount of defense.

I like the idea of slow moving, normal, run of the mill "Shaun of the Dead" type Zombies. The kind without super-human powers. You know...the kind I'll have a shred of a chance running from as long as I'm not wearing heels... If there are going to be tentacles & climbing abilities, I may have to give up and join em.

yep. slow, stupid, zombies with no tentacles please. preferably those that fall apart and decay fairly quickly too. no use making things more difficult than they have to be.

Seems to be a landslide for tenticle-less zeds. I have to say, I agree. I prefer my zombies non-mutated.

The profit wouldn't be of a strictly monetary type but in raw power. ICBM's aren't 'profitable' but they did keep the wolves from the door for a few decades at least...
