Hi,

Not a very technical question... but am wondering...

Along with all the other huge health benefits of switching from tobacco to e-cigarettes which I just did 5 days ago... Can I expect less yellowing of teeth and my walls (which have needed constant wiping down to get drippy brown stuff off from smoking)? Think it's the nicotine that causes yellowing... but want to ask people who've actually done it. Thanks.

I've been vaping for 2 1/2 years. My teeth are not noticeably whiter, but they are not any yellower either. My walls have not had any of that drippy brown stuff on them since I switched. In the winter I get a clear film of I suspect VG &/or PG on glass in the house and car.

I don't have smokers cough anymore and I can breath easier now. Best of luck with it soulsister :)

Dental hygenist has commented that I have less staining. It's not the nic that does that, but the tars from burning plant matter. No tar in vape... But vaping won't make teeth whiter

Since my wife became a non-smoker many years back, I never smoked inside, so can't say about the walls :) But I vape inside, and we've seen no buildup...

I've been vaping for 3 1/2 yrs and I have to agree with what Ryedan said. Teeth haven't changed and I don't have that terrible film on the inside of my windshield anymore. I never did have the dripping nic stains on my walls but that could be because I never stayed put long enough. :p

I blow vapor at my monitor constantly and no film buildup there either.

It was never "nicotine" staining the teeth, walls or fingers. It has always been the tar produced from burning tobacco.
As far as your teeth, they shouldn't gain any staining, unless you drink dark drinks, like coffee. They will certainly brighten easier, but even that takes work.
As for your walls, you may have residue there for a long time to come. Eventually, it will go away, with work and time.
